First and foremost hello all and thanks for taking the time reading about me.
I am considering doing my first cycle and have been in toss up both what to cycle and still if I actually want to go through with it.
About me
I am 31, 5 8 about 165. Have 15 inch arms which are pretty well defined and a pretty good set of abs although being 31 has finally allowed me to gain a little bit of body fat if I am not careful on how I eat. Been lifting since I was 16 in periods of being very serious and then I overtrain and get hurt and take long periods of time off (never any surgeries needed.
I have been pretty lucky in the sense of genetics in that I gain pretty good size quickly but strenght ironically isnt as fast .... for instance my arms will blow up at the gym and I look like I can curl over 1OO but am only doing 7O or so.
A buddy of mine who I work out with has gone through a few cycles of mainly oral substances such as tbol and dbol and I have easy access to these 2 and am close to getting tbol however the more I read the more I am seeing that going with straight test and injections would be better than the previously mentioned. He also does not cycle that often and he doesnt even use a post treatment because he doesnt think he uses it enough to justify it (but I am thinking that maybe he is wrong for not doing it.
I dont plan on making a cycle a habit but am just looking to get a boost each year or maybe couple time a year depending on how my body reacts and how I like how i feel and look etc.
I am mature and openly admit that I do not have a lot of knowledge in this area which is why I am here to ask questions and listen to those who actually have experienced this themselves.
So with that being said, my goal is to increase strenght levels in a healthy way to where I am not damaging any joints and to gain some good sizes on my arms which seem to be at size I cant get bigger (which is sad cause 15 really isnt shit in my eyes but others around me say they look big for my height and length of them. In addition to size I feel the little boost will also give me that much more motivation when I start seeing the crazy results which will push me harder and make me more disciplined than I am now.
I do expect to lose about 35 to 5O percent of what I gain so if I put on about 2O pounds or so, after the cycle and while I continue to stay natural until maybe a year later or so Id expect it to be about 1O to 15 I actually gain which is still a crazy amount in such a short time and worth it in my eyes.
I want to do this smart and dont want to rush into anything stupid and am pretty open to all opinions and criticism as long as it is constructive. What would you suggest to someone like myself out of your experience and knowledge while I continue my journey of reading and preparation.
