Has anyone used this? I'm looking for alternatives to Clomid and Nolva so this came up. Here is some info from another board......
"With all the questions about triptorelin I thought I would do a little write up on it. If you are looking to do some research on it as well you can find it under triptorelin pamoate. I will refer to triptorelin as tript from now on. I will keep this short and simple.
I am going to fillyou in on little background information on tript. Tript is in a class of drugs called LHRH (luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone). Luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone, and GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) are decapitates synthesized by hypothalamic neurons which controls production of male and female sex hormones, and stimulates FSH and LH release in response to CNS stimulation.
When WE use steroids we are basically activating thenegativefeed backloop to the hypothalamus. When this occurs we have a decrease in GnRH causing the pituitary to reduce the release of LH and FSH causing a shut down of your HPTA. How hard this shutdown is depends on how long your levels remain above the normal range and into the supraphisologicrange, and also on what typeof steroidyou use.
So how does Tript work? Wellbecausetriptisa LHRH it mimics the signal from the hypothalamus to the pituitary causing it to overproduce LH. This causes your hypothalamus to reset seeing that it needs to produces GnRH to maintain its level of LH. THIS ISy DONE WITH A SINGLESHOT OF 100MCGsOF TRIPT AND NO MORE… Any more and you could end up chemically castrating yourself. And yes it will happen it’s what they use on androgen based cancer patients to stop production of testosterone. Also most research companies only sell 100mcg doses.
Your hypothalamus sends GnRH in pulses to you pituitary so when you give yourself too much or to often you can activateyour negative feedback loop to yourto your hypothalamus causing a shutdown of your hypothalamuses ability to release GnRH. A single 100mcg dose of tript can cause a 300% increase in LH in as little as 24 hrs."
