    Syringe Disposal USA

So what do you do with all those used syringes and where do they end up. Are they headed to the landfill or being dumped offshore then to wash up.

It will irresponsible of this community to not protect the health of our environment and those living in it. I have been a HRT patient about 3 years and have generated quite a bit of medical waste (used syringes/needles) I purchase the red sharps containers that are ultra cheap when I buy syringes online and delivered discretely to my home.

Wether your HRT or conducting AAS experiments please do your part.

The full sharps container is delivered to the front reception desk at my local hospital and housekeeping is called to pick it up. No questions asked it is anonymous, and is part of a program to properly dispose of home medical waste. They do prefer you tape the lid tight.

Below is a link to a state by state location finder to discretely dispose of your waste.....

It scares me even though it is annonymous to do something like that. I know I need too, but it is sketchy. I dont throw them out of the car or anything like that, I am responsible. But a sharps would be the best bet for sure.

I dispose of my pins in sandboxes around the neighborhood, caps off of course.

But for reals the person I asked at the pharmacy didn't make a big deal about it so I stopped being quite as ridiculously careful.
