Test Cypionate Question
My understanding is that, because this is a long acting ester, it will be in the body at significant levels for a good two weeks after the last injection.
Given that, If I give myself only 8 injections (8 weeks), then, will it in effect be the same as a 10 week cycle b/c of the time the test lingers in the body?
Also, given the above, would I not start clomid until two weeks after the last injection?
Thanks.

yeah but realize that it isnt instant acting so it takes 2 weeks or more to get into your system so technically it works both ways it stays longer but doesnt start as fast

It will be in your body for 10wks yes, but those last 2 wks levels will be declining rapidly, so I wouldnt call it the same as a 10wks cycle.
You do start clomid 2wks after last shot though.

This is my first cycle. I took 200 mgs on Saturday. I now understand I will need more for results. If I take 250 mgs for 8 weeks can I expect some decent (not huge) results?

My diet is very clean and I'm quite disciplined in that regard. Having said that, I do have a tough time getting too much more than 1gram of protein per pound into me in a day. I'm about 190-195.
When you all say "perhaps" I'll get gains, or maybe some gains, do you mean that with that much test for a full 8 weeks I may not make any at all? (semi - shocked look on my face).

You can gain from 250 a week, but you'll need 2 grams of protein. Don't know your age but if your over 30 your test levels could be declining so you may need 400mg a week.

Damn, I'm 34 and can hardly imagine choking down 400 grams of protein a day!

JonnyB didn't mean 400g of protein a day, He meant 400mg of Test per week. I am 35 and doing a Test Cyp cycle along with EQ. I am doing a low dosage cycle of both. I started with 250mg of Test, (though last week bumped it up to 300) Your diet has to be perfect, and like JohnnyB said, your going to need up to 2g of protein per body weight... Good luck

Thanks freakmaster. However, I do miss the days of "youth." Ahh, all the fine young women . . . etc. etc.
buylongterm, it looks like you're on almost the same type cycle as me although you have added the EQ. Have you done a cycle like this before? How were you're gains? How long are you planning to do this one?

Gettin'Old go get yourself a 10lb bag of protein powder and drink some of that protein you need. I take in a lot of protein that way. I couldn't imagine eating all that food.
Good luck!

Mudman, you wouldn't believe the supplies I have. One benefit of my "old age" (34) is that I've got a few bucks to frivolously spend on products. I've got 3 boxes of VPX Micellean protein and 4 boxes of ISS Pro Bars (44 grams of protein per bar).
Still, it's not easy chokin' down that much protein.
Thanks though
