Headache and acne, are they normal with nolva and clomid? Please help.

    Hello my friends,

I have finished my 1st cycle with deca and test e. I had zero side effects during my cycle, I started my PCT 2 weeks ago with 40 mgs/day of nolva and 50 mgs/day of clomid. What happened is that I got acne all over my back and upper arms besides a 24/7 headache. The funny thing is that I'm 28 years old and that was my 1st headache experience, I have never had one in my whole life.

    So. is that normal?

no, it's certainly not normal to have never had a headache in 28 years.

What was the reasoning behind not doing a test only cycle your first time? Did you run an AI?

I wouldn't say normal. Possible, yes. And not that it is, but if i had to put a guess out there, i would say clomid. But then again, it could be anything. I know personally, my body doesn't particularly care for clomid.

Believe it or not kmms, but I have never had a headache.

BlueWaffle, no reason but I really needed the maximum gains, I know test cycle only would be a right beginning. And no, I didn't run an AI. These side effects only started when I begun with my PCT.

stpete, I hope it's just from nolva and clomid.

I'm with St Pete, it very well could be the Clomid. Headaches are a common side effect associated with it.

Acne is typically associated with hormonal changes. Could be from the drop off of test, could be that your estrogen may be through the roof since you didn't use an AI, could be many other factors. Unfortunately acne is very common on cycle and/or during pct.

There is always a price to play, be happy with just acne.
