    HCG syringe question

Not too sure if there is a specific type of syringe to use for HCG on cycle. Is there a certain type of slin pin that i should use for sub q HCG injections twice a week? thanks guys.

Regular insulin syringe 27 gauge or smaller 1/2" as you inject just under the skin

Insulin syringe. Measured in IU's. 29 gauge is painless. They always have an orange cap. Buy them at any pharmacy. Make sure you know how to do subcutaneous injections.

Because HCG is the same consistency as water, even the highest guage insulin syringe will draw it without a problem. I'm pretty sure insulin syringes have a max .5" pin, so a delt injection is ideal if you are doing IM injections. 29GA insulin needles are almost painless, but make sure you aspirate when injecting in your delt because there are a lot of blood vessels running through the muscle.

If you're there in DC, then you'll have to order by mail or hit up one of the needle exchange vans that rolls around the city servicing addicts. As far as I know, buying syringes is still illegal in DC without a prescription...yeah, that's right, in DC, which has the highest HIV/AIDS rate in America. Gotta love the Drug War.

While you can inject HCG intramuscularly, who would want to? If you reconstitute 5,000iu of HCG with 1ml of water in order to get 500iu per 0.1ml, you'd need to do an IM injection with the bigger pins and all that hassle to inject 1/10 of a whole mL. Why bother? Just get an insulin syringe and do subcutaneous. It's faster too.

You don't need to use a bigger pin for an IM injection. If you don't have high BF%, you can easily give yourself an IM shot in the delt with a .5" slin pin. But, hell, I don't really care how others choose to inject. Just pointing out that it's not impossible.
