    Running low test dosage to cut?

    I been thinking here. I lost most of the weight I wanted from my overly gourged see food diet cycle. I still have a good size, but I still want to lose about a dozen+ pounds of fat.

    My concern now is muscle loss. I been leaner before of course, but it was achieved with a very low calorie deficit(I was pushing about 1.5k cals per day).

    I am pretty sure if I do that now, I will lose muscle along with my fat.

    I noticed people mentioned it on here quite a few times. But, how beneficial would this be? I was thinking of running maybe like 350mg's of test per week while running a pretty extreme calorie deficit.

    Is this just plain out stupid or what? I just want to lose fat and not mass < of course.

    Samson..what is you BF% now.

    I wouldnt mess with test at anything under 500mg per week unless I was running another compound ie: tren and only needed the test for shutdown.

    I believe highly in running test during a cut to help save of maintain muscle mass but still think 500 is a great dose.

    I know some ppl will run like the test 400 at 400mg per week and that works. When you start comparing 50 to 100 mg a week its just simantics.

    You need to make a decision whether you want to cycle or cruise. that dose as you mention is fairly low, and wont' really do much during the standard 12 week period for c or e.

    Now, if you are thinking of the benefits trt provides, then you are not looking at this clearly. trt benefits come long term, up to 2 full years.

    you may lose some fat at that dose. but is it worth it? that's the question. are you willing to shut down your natty test production just to lose a few pounds of fat?

    that doesn't sound very safe to me, nor does it sound very smart.

    you could look into GW (pep) or some T3. both of these may be safer and give you the result you are looking for.

    I am sitting right @ 20%Bf - Diet is solid as it can be(really)

    Experiencing muscle loss is the last thing I would like. I am not looking to run TRT @ this time, no reason to really.


    Just brainstorming shit to help me with cutting off the fat and not the LBM.

    I will take a while to lose the fat. But I wouldn't be in any hurry to do it. I would say a few month's and you will be gtg. How many cals are you eating now?

    I would say for now...drop a few more and add the test in. Call it a reward for hard work if you will.

    That is the easiest way about it really.

    You can run a low dose test cycle at 300mgs per wk to preserve tissue and keep you anabolic during a cutting phase. I would question your diet and calorie restrictions because cutting them to much your asking for trouble. Why not try carb cycling which will cut fat and also help keep hold of the precious tissue and also help with cravings etc.

    More (intense) cardio, 1700 cal, and a little test will do u good I'm sure id say 400mg test should be good

    Jesus... I don't get why people around here say that you need 500mg/week of Test for anything, and that any less is useless. This has been going around for years.

    My very first cycle I ever did was Testosterone Enanthate at 300mg/week for 10 weeks, ran it with an AI to keep water rentention down. I put on 27 lbs and only lost 3 lbs. after all was said and done after PCT. You people underestimate the power of these hormones like no tomorrow. The human body on its own naturally produces approximately 50-70mg PER WEEK. 300mg/week is superhuman compared to what the body produces naturally! Let alone 500mg, 750mg, 1000mg!

    You can cut just fine on 350mg/week of Testosterone for the purpose of muscle retention during a caloric deficit.
