Popping and Cracking
Stupid question, I already know.
But, ever since I started lifting heavy (about 5-7 years ago) I seem to be popping and cracking more and more. My elbows pop, all my fingers crack and my back just crack like no other. Along with just about every other joint on my body.
This is not under typical movement but when I over extend either my arms or when I intentionally crack my back. But, if I don't I feel more locked up.
It seems to slowly be getting worse and worse as my lifts go up.
None of this is painful, just funky. Specially when I make a loud crack around one of the youngens and they just give me a total WTF was that look.

I used to pop and lock in the 80's.
My ankles and knees I can continuously pop on command. No pain but it cant be good in the long run

I'm curious, are you describing the same feeling as say cracking your knuckles?

I can't speak for the "body", but did research cracking knuckles (& the Doc agrees). I guess studies have shown that cracking your knuckles does no harm & actually stretches out your hand/finger muscles, ligaments & joint area....
The body responds to bad stuff with pain. I find it crazy you can crack all those joints, I can't crack but my hands & sometimes neck.. Oh, a chiropractor used to crack everyone's neck when I visited so it can't be that bad
Best I got.. Must sound/feel wicked cracking your spine. I know my wife ALWAYS begs me to learn how to crack hers, my guess.. It helps!!

I crack and pop all over. I can even pop my sternum. It's never hurt not bothered me but I don't know why It does it.

It's crazy loud too. My elbows and back are the loudest. People will just turn their heads with a WTF was that look just about every time.
Oh yeah, when I was young and before I started lifting I used to be able to pop my chest <Now WTF is that!

If it doesn't hurt I wouldn't be that concerned. Times Roman turned me on to MSM taken at 5 grams a day. After about 3 weeks there was major improvement in my joints. Awesome stuff.

I can do the same, especially my ankles. A couple weeks ago out of boredom i popped my left ankle 92 times consecutively, no rest at all. My right shoulder almost as bad at times. Left knee is terrible. It actually pops sometimes when i extent my leg to rest it on the ottoman. Crazy.
It's all good for now Samson. Wait till you have to take ibuprofen and acetaminophen w/your morning supps. hahaha....

TimesRomans log of TB 500 sound good for me. I have been contemplating it. I am also going to tinker around with some Nandrolone Deconate too see how that works too. I am mainly going to use that to kick Cape Buffalos arse in the Bulk Classic. HAHAHA! But seriously, I cant even do over head presses anymore becasue of shoulder pain and cracking. Sucks getting old

Fair enough, just thought about. As long as my joints don't grind, I'm good.

Have any of you guys had a problem around the elbow area? It is like a nerve or something which rubs against the ligament when you are doing exercises like bench press, dumbbell presses and so on. It's like a twitch every time u push out. I am very lean so that might be a reason.
