Can't hurt, it helps with pain and inflammation.

Ibuprofen would be my choice, and maybe sitting on a heating pad every now and then.

Some guy on another board rants and raves about using the Z track method to minimize, or as he says in his case virtually eliminate post injection discomfort. I've never done it and I really don't see how this would be beneficial other than sealing the oil in, leaving no exit path. I'm pinning quads tonight so I'm going to try it for the hell of it.

Yes, it's inflamed. That's what happens, don't be scared that it is an infection. After 10 days post-injection I would go see a doctor. Until then don't stress yourself out about it.

Thanks sworder, I'd rather not see my doctor about it as I haven't told him I am doing anabolics. Is it anything serious? I'll try to look up on it.

It's a chemical inflammation which occurs and the main culprit is benzyl alcohol. This is why human grade testosterone is nice because they use different solvents. If you take some benzyl alcohol and place it in a plastic cut it will eat through it. Pretty nasty stuff.

Like I said though, don't worry about it until day 10, PIP can last even a week depending on volume injected. If you would see your doctor tell him you injected B-12.

Though a few may use phenol, the vast majority use .9% BA, while some use FAR more (several use 5% and Organon uses 10% BA in Sustanon (listed as 100mg/ml on the packaging).
He probably just has dirty gear or it is too highly concentrated.

Standard in UGL is 2% as you know.

About the high concentrate gear, why do you think that is an issue? Do you believe that it "crashes" in the muscle tissue and this is what causes the pain? What about testosterone prop, is test prop subject to crashing and that is why people complain about prop being more painful due to the lower melting point?

OR do you think that the oil is metabolized a lot quicker leaving "crystal shards" in the tissue causing pain? This could be a possible explanation to why winny in its aqueous solution makes the crystals sit in the muscle without "the lube".

Yes, most homebrewers use 2%, so I assume most UGLs would do the same.

High concentrations will cause pain for a number of reasons. Some are simply irritating to tissue at higher concentrations even if they remain in solution (boldenone and its relatives), while others just hurt because they crash. The last 2 suggestions you listed amount to the same thing: foreign organic crystaline solids lodged between your muscle fibers, rubbing against nerves and causing inflammation.

I'd go with most other broad-spectrum antibiotics over Bactrim, mainly since sulfa drugs have a large potential for adverse/allergic reactions.
    I keep levofloxacin on hand.

Its funny I only knew to use this because of what I do people get staph alot from dirty training gear and mats. My first cycle ever I got staph from a injection "my luck" I didnt use a badaid. I had bactrim on hand, googled it. Fixed me. And its cheap online.

I dont know anything about levofloxacin. Ill have to look into it.
