    Steroids Given out by Doctors?

Until watching this video h**p://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUc23z2Al58&feature=relmfu I always thoughts steroids were generally applied by guys sticking each other in the ass with dirty needles in the back of some sketchy gym locker room, but in this video this guy gets steroids from a "nutritionist" in a nutritionists office. Needless to say he gets huge"er" after taken the steroids.

Anyways my questions is do doctors really shoot up people with steroids for mostly cosmetic reasons? Any doctors like the one in the video in the Boston/Providence area?

I know it's kind of cheating, but if you can get the same results in 3 months with steroids that would normally take 3 years without steroids and have little to negative side effects I think it's worth it.

Excuse me? Kind of cheating? If someone who is not a proffessional athlete is using AAS to assist progress in achieving their own personal physique and training goals, HOW IS THAT CHEATING?

That video you posted is the stupidest video on anabolic steroids I have ever seen. I saw that video a few years back. Here's a small bit of advice for you: stop getting your information on anabolic steroids from television, videos, and youtube. The best place to get UNBIASED information is from books and proper medical literature, as well as forums such as these. As you continue to read and research, you will slowly but surely discover that you have been grossly misinformed, brainwashed, and conditioned to think almost completely negative sentiment about anabolic steroids.

To answer your main question, no, doctors do not 'shoot up people with steroids for mostly cosmetic reasons'. Doctors are not allowed to perscribe anabolic steroids for anything other than a handful of medical conditions, none of which include physique or performance enhancement. The medical establishment and the FDA do NOT recognize anabolic steroid use for this purpose as a legitemate use. Therefore, in North America, any doctor perscribing anabolic steroids in such a manner is risking his job, reputation, and medical license.

Yes, that's pretty much the only place that will be able to perscribe AAS and HGH a little more freely than most conventional doctors. Anti aging and 'wellness' clinics. But even still, they won't be perscribing bodybuilding cycle doses and stacks.

I saw an MTV True Life episode (youtube) on steriods and a guy wanting a photo shoot for a muscle magazine was going to some clinic in a strip mall. I had never seen anything like it and wonder about what the heck it was all about. Weird.

There are a number of clinics across the country where you can get AAS and HGH prescriptions...far more than I think many realize. Like was said, you won't be getting a bodybuilding dosed plan but you can easily get some good gear and probably more than a lot of people think you can get 100% legally. Personally, when it comes to hormone related needs from a doctor, while most will agree a general practitioner is the worst place to go, in my opinion many endos are just as pathetic...or at least pretty close. You want places that are generally labeled "wellness clinics", "performance medicine", "rejuvenation clinics" or "anti-aging clinics." Over the next few years, I'd expect to see a lot more of these popping up across the country.

You can't just go to one of those anti-aging clinics and expect them to give you HGH and gear though. It's against the law for them to give you the drugs unless you have a medical condition that has a recognized treatment of HGH or AAS. Anti-aging is not a recognized treatment! If you're deficient, they'll treat you with it. But make no doubt about it, it's not cheap. The bloodwork alone can easily cost a fortune. There are shady clinics across the country that'll give you your medication anyways, but they risk getting in serious trouble for it.

Anyways, this MTV True Life show is ridiculous. I honestly wish they would stop making these propaganda pieces. If you want real information, you're going to have to actually do the work yourself and research the topic. Look for medical studies and read/listen as much as you can from experienced and knowledgeable users. Hell, 20 minutes of reading what the vets on this site have to say will give you more actual information than all of those propaganda pieces put together.

    OP here..

Yes MTV is not a reliable source of information, nor is it very entertaining. It has always sucked, even before 1995. Yes, the media is very negative when it comes to steroids. Watching MTV talk about steroids is like watching fox news talk about Obama.

This point aside let's get this post back on topic. Were is there a clinic that treats "low T" in the Boston/Providence area. Trying to get these abs to start popping here...

Just a myth for me so far. But, I was talking to my tool bag trainer guy who says he knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a full on MD that will prescribe solid dosages. Never seen it though.

Any suppliers in the San Jose excuse me Santa Clara County San Benito County Santa Cruz County for Monterey County for gear. Wanting to start my first cycle

I saw that MTV thing. LOL at the dude who took steroids so he could win a gay striptease contest! He didn't even bulk up!

If it were so easy to find these doctors who will give us all the gear we want and shoot us up too, wouldn't we all be doing it? Like Atomini said, any US doctor who will just write you out a script for whatever the hell you want will lose his license.

I've got a feeling you're not going to be around here very long, Dave. You're not allowed to ask for sources.

Almost every doctor I know will prescribe Test Cyp for Test deficiency in their patient. If the test level goes up too high (BB want higher test levels) they'll cut back the dosage. Normally, the doage is about 100mg/wk to 150mg/wk. That's just not enough Test to get big. It's enough to feel better but not get anabolic results.

I think the store you are looking for is run by the tooth fairy. Where do these KIDS come from? I hope they look back someday and realize how idiotic they sound and naive they were.
