Post office has my order. Are the police involved??

I ordered gear from Thailand. Not a big order. They sent it registered mail. I got a notice on the door that that I was not home and I had to pick it up and sigh for it at the post office. I went to the post office and they could not find it. They said the mail man might have it . They said that they would call me when they find it. Should I be concerned. Thanks

No worries. They're probably right, the mailman has it. Either he hasnt dropped it off at the post office or making a second attempt. Usually they leave a note, which you could elect to sign and agree to have it dropped off without your presence. I remember the first time I had to walk into the post office. The guy took FOREVER in the back looking for my package. Finally came out, I signed, and went home. Nerve wracking.

Same here. Police aren't going to worry about your small order.

She's probably right. Anything that has to be signed for they will make 3 delivery attempts before just leaving it for pick up.

Exactly. No problem, buddy. Just go get your stuff tomorrow or the next day. If they wanted you, you'd already be in jail.

I hate shit from outside the US. They always want a damn signature. . . . USPS Priority Mail is awesome, they just leave the shit.

Signing for stuff sucks nuts. Specially since you are signing for it and it has your name. Just don't like that shit, period.

Sort of, they want a controlled delivery. So they can bust you with the shit in your possession, from what I understand at your house. This way they can break you off with a search warrant at the same time.

I just did this. In my area they try one time and leave notice for u to choose pick up or redeliver. I just went the next day and picked it up. Not one question about it.

If that was the case, they would have made sure you were home before attempting to deliver. another trip=more money and paperwork. I mean, we're not talking about rec drugs here. And i wish to leave that out of this thread as it's against the rules. But really, it's a moot point. you can look at it like this, do they send you anything in the mail warning you that you have a warrant out for your arrest? No, they don't. And as far as busts go, how many of those convicted say that they had a warning prior to the bust? Just doesn't happen.

True true. . . They would stake you out first.

What a joke, this shit should not be treated like this. We are not buying heroin and getting it sent in the mail to us.

It's most likely still with the mailman and nothing to be concerned about.

Well, you should be concerned about your legislators. Here in Thailand I have no voice in the law, they just kept a package of mine which had some body wax and sex toys for the girls. You know I can go into the pharmacy and get growth hormone but sex toys are strictly prohibited.

Precisely! And this is why we're typically not "top of the food chain" for convictions. They have bigger fish to fry than the everyday moderate AAS user.

There's other reasons as well but i'll leave that alone for now.

bbadger22......I promise you your not going to jail. Unless you were importing numerous packages of compound ranging from 500g on up for a couple months to a year or soo so they could build a case on you, then I would be paranoid. But the postman wouldnt be playing games with you, LMAO...The Feds busting down your door would LOL

if you ask him where your package is tomorrow and he responds angrily and rips the door off of your mailbox, that's probably a pretty good sign also.

If the police want you, they'll come after you. It's highly unlikely though unless you're distributing.

I wouldn't be too concerned as to picking up the package as I would by on the ride home. Good luck either way.

If the package has made it to a local sorting facility the workers are more interested in getting the work done then seeing what's in the box. If it's a high value package then most likely it is locked up in a cage to prevent theft. The post office can't afford to pay any claims and are just following protocol.

Postal workers are not even aloud to open your box. They have to first be suspicious then have to have a certified parcel inspector open it, which generally means it will be shipped to another facility. If it's at your local post office there isn't a problem.

You are fine. I know some sources require a signature. It's not the most convenient but atleast they aren't leaving your packages out on your doorstep for someone to swipe and they are covering their butt so you can't say you never received it. If you are that worried, just make sure you read what you're signing. But like everyone has said, if you are buying personal amounts, its not worth their time.

They probably have to call the cops first, then get back to you!

just kidding you have nothing to worry about. They don't do that crap. If you are ordering powder in bulk you might be worried, but then they come knocking. Hear of a friend that happened to. Don't worry just get your package.
