PCT issues
Im new in here, but I do have a few questions. I am 5'9 200lbs and just finished a bulking cycle . Im currently ending my PCT , but there is a huge issue with either Clomid or Nolvadex im not sure which, but I get up every night at around 3:00am either moving back and forth or with back pain. After a while I get them both and cant go back to bed until around 7. This is killing me and I dont want it to happen again. Any advise would be greatly appreciated on which could be the culprit. This issue only started after I finished HCG and started on Clomid or Nolvadex. NO GYNO

Welcome Mine.
So this has been happening for 4 wks now? Have you lost a lot of your gains in the last 4 wks?
edit:
I should have clarified: occasionally when you're on AAS and stressing your cns and body, during PCT you can lose weight while your body is recovering IF your diet is not on. This can sometimes be uncomfortable. I have experienced this.Last edited by MickeyKnox; 10-17-2012 at 11:50 AM.

No as a matter of fact I only dropped 10 pounds. This started about 2 days after starting PCT I know it is one of them, becuase I stopped for two days during PCT to find out, because I couldnt take the restlessness and no sleep. It felt like I was having some kind of strange withdrawal.

What are your dosages for both clomid and nolva? Lay out your PCT.

Its definitely not the hCG .
I really don't know the answer, but i still want to dig in a bit deeper and perhaps figure it out by elimination.
Is this your first cycle? If not, have you experienced anything like this before? Any other sides?

I just finished a test prop and equipoise 12 week cycle I have had a prior cycle where I ran Test Eth and Deca , with HGH. Great bulking cycle, but the last 12 weeks on this so called cutting cycle hasnt been all that impressive. I ran some winny for 4 weeks of the second cycle, but it didnt agree with me. Sides I didnt like, The PCT during the first Cycle was arimidex and HCG only.

AI to be used on cycle always. And hCG belongs on cycle as well, not during PCT. (just wanted to mention that)
So you have never used clomid/nolva before this cycle? Could be the clomid, but i don't have any direct information on this to support my suspicions. Any upcoming bloodwork scheduled?

I did use HCG during cycle and a few days after. My recovery as far as natural test seems to be very good. Libido and everything else is in line, actually a little higher than before I started these two cycles 8 months ago. I am going to go get some blood work done. The strange thing is it feels like sleep apnea and because my neck is bigger ive began to snore, never happened before these cycles. But I think it might be that I am taking these at night before bed clomid and nolvadex . I am trying to figure it out just so that I can make sure that PCT next time wont be a nightmare at night.

Clomid is known for causing problems emotionally and physically. There's some studies you can dig up on why exactly they cause these but they are rare.
Personally I experience a much more "harsh" PCT when I include clomid. I sleep worse, I get more emotional, I feel less motivated.... all those. When I lower my clomid dosages or even cut it out completely these sides seem to disappear.
I'm not advertising to do these, every individual responds differently to everything but I'm just sharing my experience. Goodluck!

I guess you'll have to search out the physical studies on this. The emotional sides from clomid on the other hand, are well known and well documented.
I wish i could have been more help.
Good luck bro..

Thanks, one thing that is a little strange to me is that during the days and part of the night everything is just fine. I dont even seem to have any of the emotional things clomid induces. But 2 to 3 in the morning im doomed. Every night.

The greatest form of education is through self experience.
Next time you can try things differently and see how you react.
I used to take my PCT meds in the AM but they made me feel terrible and awkward at work, that's why I always took them before bed. Like I said though, everybody reacts differently.
