Going to doctors ... need advice.

I am on testosterone and lately have had what I think is an ear infection or sinus infection. I want to go to the hospital but I know they will do blood tests and I don't want anything to stay on my medical record for future health insurance purposes. What do you think I should do? Thx

Also, when I do those blood tests with an "online" doctor from the internet, do those blood tests get reported into the medical record?

Why would they do a blood test for ENT? I have neve had a blood test for any thing like that.
    I wouldn't worry

Well I'm thinking they would do at least a white blood cell count and I'm not sure if those tests test for test as well. (tests test for test haha). What if they want to check to see if I have bacteria in the blood?

They would have to specifically order hormone labs... Which they won't do because they are expensive. You've got no worries.

Okay thanks. But lets say I wanted to go to order a blood test online from a private lab, will these results show up in my medical record? Any way to prevent this?

Just go to your GP. Who goes to the ER for a sinus infection???
Nobody draws blood to diagnose a throat/sinus infection, since they can often be diagnosed visually.
They may do a strep culture, but that is just a swab test, not blood.

And no, online bloodwork that you order yourself does not go on your medical record (since keeping it off the books is the whole appeal).

I've been going to an ENT for an ear infection for 3 months now. He did not do a blood test. I also had a tube put in my ear for drainage. And still no blood test. And if he would have ordered one I don't think it would have included a hormone test.
