Few days into first Test E cycle, notice I am shedding a few hairs...

Hey guys, I'm a few days into my test e cycle, 500 mg/wk .25 adex eod and I notice when I am shedding a few hairs. Like I rubbed my scalp a few times and i got like 20 hairs. My scalp also appears to be more white on the top and very dry.

There is no total MPB in my family (dad still has SOME hair at 50) (grampas both had a lot).


I'm wondering if I should be worried and order some DHT blocker or propecia, etc OR if this will all stop once i'm off cycle. I can handle a bit of hair thinning on cycle no problem as long as it goes away after.

Also note, its very few hairs and I'm not losing patches or anything. So the question is, do you think my hair will be okay without any support?

I think the gene is passed down via your mom's side so look at her dad to project how your hair loss may be.

If you are a couple days into your test cycle you are imagining it.. Hair loss is permanent.

Believe it or not but I'm already noticing changes in my body from this long ester.

I think a few days would be too soon to see hair loss from the test. The body goes through periods of hair loss naturally anyway. I wouldn't be concerned yet.

yes , i believe it was a false alarm. But the thing is, i went straight to the bathroom and combed to see what would happen and my scalp made a crackling sound (so ****ing dry!) and hair came out...I'm almost positive this is due to DHT.


However, since its faded, I think A-dex might have something to do with it, going to switch it to every 3 days.

@Sworder, yes, mother's-father is better predictor of hair patterns w/ age.

@anabolic too earlier to be mediated by DHT and DHT is not always main culprit of hair loss. Depending on your cycle, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors can be more problematic.

You mentioned changing your anastrozole. What is current dose and frequency?

I still think that 3-4 weeks is very-very fast. I went away to search info on hair loss & AAS use & although it speeds up hair loss its still over time & (usually heavy) use. Sounds like your hair was dry, you brushed & the sound was that of pulling/breaking hair or the brush just pulling out the dead hair.

Did you examine for roots?

I've tried but I can't find anything that shows results of near instant type hair loss assosiated with test e (& others). Combining?? I'll have to watch this, maybe a member whos had this can say yah or nah? Most of my gear is in the safe & I'm still 2 months from 1st cycle, you had me checking up good stuff.. Not the hair loss, but that I spent the last hour researching..
