Skin red and sore not around injection site?

    Hey guys,

Quick question... I pinned my tricep for first time Saturday morning. With advice I got best pin yet I would say. No pain, no blood got it first time. Started getting PIP roughly 24 hours after pin. Has been sore all day but when I got to the gym I noticed the back of my arm from my elbow to the bottom of my tricep is red and quite a bit warmer then it probably should be. Should I be concerned? I have full movement and the first time pain isn't that bad. There is no swelling, should I just leave it or is there something I can take to aid in recovering time? Btw I pinned higher in the thickest part of my tricep which is weird why it is about 2-3" lower then where I pinned. Gravity?

    Thanks.

Fresh muscle. Or possible your hand wasn't very steady. If it's warm, red and hardened, give it a few days, if it doesn't start to go down, have it checked for infection. Most likely not infected just irritated.

    Thanks!

I figured that was the case. Thought my hand was pretty steady. I took some Benadryl see if it helps, was just weird it is quite a bit lower then the actual injection site.
