    First Cycle Advice

    Hi everyone. I'm thinking about doing my first cycle. I'm 32, 5'10" 212lbs, I've been lifting for about 6 years. I'm curious on what you guys think:

    Weeks 1-12 test cypionate 500mg split 2x/week
    Weeks 1-12 arimidex .25/.5 mg EOD
    Weeks 3-12 HCG 500iu split 2x/week

    PCT
    Weeks 14-18 clomid 100/50/50/50
    Weeks 14-18 Nolva 40/20/20/20

    I'm not looking to go crazy for my first time. Am I on the right track? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

    Looks good. Start Adex @ 0.25mg q.a.d (EOD) and increase if you feel estrogen is not being well controlled. No need to dose Adex higher out of the gate - less is more initially.

    Have you put together a nutrition plan? If you don't stick to a proper plan w/ the right proportion of macros during and after the cycle, you will have waisted your effort. Nothing happens without the correct nutrition plan. Everyone says their nutrition is "perfect", "dialed in" or whatever but the sad reality is that most people do not have the correct nutrition plan to drive and sustain their goals. Don't make the mistakes others have made!

    I like cyp every 3 days but you could split mon/thur. I like nolva 40/40/20/20. The dex is nice. The HCG ......what are you trying to accomplish?

    Hey BIG.....

    Not sure if your question was more general (i.e. why use HCG ) or something specific to OP's intended cycle. Here's a quick answer to "why HCG":

    HCG mimics LH. The presence of LH causes the leydig cells in the gonads to produce testosterone which restores testicular atrophy quickly if they were suppressed from a cycle.

    HCG is commonly used on very heavy or very long cycles, where it is most effective due to the HTPA being severely suppressed.

    Looks good Bro and Hcg is recommended to prevent testicular atrophy.

    I work with a nutritionist, I going to get together with her to make sure my diet will be on point.

    Thanks for all the input! Can't wait to get started. Now I just need to start acquiring everything.

    Usually when i see 'First cycle' i cant wait to see how dumb the person makes them look, but you sir got the right idea, good luck bro

    I do not want to question the quality of your nutritionist but just for shyts and giggles after she comes up with a diet, I would run it through the nutrition sub forum. I have seen some preety bad diets from some so called nutritionists!

    My BF% is about 16-18% right now. I'm going to make sure it's a bit lower before I start my cycle though.

    Everything does look good except run the hcg up until the day you start PCT.

    I would also recommend you get your diet looked at here and I strongly recommend you get blood work done.

    alittle of both and that makes total sence. My last cycle was a little longer and maybe a tad on the heavy side as I was hooked and didn't want to get off lol. my entire system shut down, my blood work showed my test levels at nearly 0. got some help out of the HRT forum and got hooked up with good info to get me back on track again.

    Got my BW done Friday, I should have results tomorrow or the next day. Why HCG till PCT? Extra test being in my system because of the longer esters?

    Oh, another quick question, I know this is probably the wrong forum for this, but since I already have the thread going... Would you suggest liquid nolva/clomid or pills?

    Pills are a bit easier to dose, IMO. I've used both. No difference in efficacy as long as its the real deal as Lunk1 said.

    Ok, so I finally got my blood test results back, the doctor only tested for total testosterone and free testosterone......Free test is 58.1 and total test is 297! That's quite low for a 32 year old huh?
