    Pinch skin before pin??

A buddy of mine who I don't feel is very knowledgeable on the topic of AAS but uses anyway has told me that he would pinch the area of skin where he was going to pin, inject, release the skin, aspirate etc. Yet, I've never seen anyone do that in any of the pictures or videos I've watched. So, I am pretty sure this is not necessary but just wanted to run it by you guys. Thanks.

Not necessary and not recommended for IM or SubQ. Although some use the Z-Track method.

The current recommended medical procedure for intramuscular injections does not say you have to pinch the skin so i would say NO its not necessary but each to there own i guess

I've done it both ways (pinch skin/not pinch skin) and seen it as well. There are no advantages or disadvantages to either method.

Yeah, I've done it both ways. Only difference I've noticed is that pinching SLIGHTLY reduces the sensation of the needle poking through my skin (I stopped because I stopped minding the sensation of the needle poking through my skin).

I've had nurses pinch my butt before. Then we dated. LOL no, you don't need to pinch.

I do it on the quad injects because I pin slowly and it seems to lessen the pain. One must be careful though because when you release the skin the pin will often times move and could tear muscle.

Ok guys thanks! I did my thigh today and didn't do the pinch method but maybe in the future I'll try it and see if I like it any better or not.

Ah, find a spot, put some alcohol on it, rear back about 18" w/your syringe and plunge right in! No issues at all!!

hahahaha...J/K. Yeah, just inject it like the doctors do.
