    Hello Friend,

Look at what Got myself into? Or Better yet anyone ever heard what u don't know, won;t hurt you? Well, My bloodwork is done. The Test result came up with Bad News though. The doctor says I tested Positive (+) for Hipetitis B.....meaning I have protein virus attacking my Liver, I told them "nonesense" I only want to know estrogen-testostrone level which in the end they state it was normal...

Whats your thought or comment on this mixed results, what would u do if u were me?

You get this from blood/ semen contact or even transferred to baby from mother at birth. can either clear on its own or be a lifetime disease that can cause from no side effects to liver scaring, to liver cancer.

Follow up in a few months with another blood test. But what activity was it that got you here? Unprotected sex, needle sharing, or birth mother transfer. Now as a carrier you need to protect other (sexual partners) from further transfer.

Hepatitis B is extremely serious and it is highly highly unlikely that it will go away, u will have it for life. It can be managed but you have to start taking it seriously if not you could develop serious health problems such as cirrhosis or liver cancer which could be fatal. Go get advice from a dr immediately to protect yourself and others. Do NOT use oral steroids as your liver is already compromised

I tested positive for Hepatitis B when I tried to give blood. I went for blood work and the doc told me that I didn't have Hepatitis B per se attacking my liver. I do have Hepatitis B antibodies that are showing up in my blood work. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you have it, you have it. Keep it taken care of and get on with life. Good luck bro.

I'm sorry dude but your wrong
My wife got diagnosed with it during routine bloods when she got pregnant with my son whilst everything you say that goes with the disease is 100% accurate your body can and sometimes does fight and reject it
    How do I know this?
My wife + on the birth of our son,my son and I got tested both -
Then my daughter came along and we went through it all again except when mother and daughter went for tests 6 months after her birth BOTH negative
The doc explained about your body can reject it

So there is light at the end :-)

First of all I'm delighted there was a good ending and your right there is a chance the body can reject it. In most cases this is not the case, and all I was trying to point out was that for his own health and safety and of those close to him, he should carefully monitor and control this condition. If I came appeared overly negative I apologise

    You'll live.
But why the hell aren't you vaccinated against it? There's a reason Hep B isn't too common in the 1st world anymore...

    You're thinking of Hep C.
Hep B is usually only temporary.

OP, just seek the standard treatment from you doctor and avoid oral steroids and alcohol until the infection is gone, at least.
