    Question about Clen use

    Hi everyone, I am 22 yrs old and completely natural (going to listen to advice and not anabolics till 25). However, I am currently on a cut and it does not seem to be working and have a few questions about clen.

    Starting weight on my cut was 172lbs at 5'9.5 and now 163lbs. I have skinfold calipers but have lost a marginal amount of fat and I know my diet is in order (slight deficit of 300 cals 40/40/20 macros) + 20 mins of cardio in fat burning HR zone 3 times a week.

    With regard to clen;

    1. I am extremely hypersensitive to caffiene and having one hydroxycut pill made me so nervous and nauseous i could barely get in 500 calories all day.Would clen have the same effect or would I react differently to non caffiene based fat burners?

    If anyone has any insight on the issue it would greatly be appreciated.

    and would you say that it is worse than the jitters you feel on hydroxycut or on par? or better? THanks.

    Nope. Never drink coffee. Haven't even had a cup in my entire life. No interest in it. So it seems if im hypersensitive to caffiene I will also be to clen. What other options are there?

    I am quite similar in relation to stimulants, I resort to stimulant free fat burners.

    I would suggest going to your dr and getting your heart checked out.

    It can crank up your BP, if you have an underlying issue you arn't aware of, there can be some hefty health risks.

    What ones are they? All i really know of is green tea but am sceptical if that even works

    I can often feel my heart beating out of my chest lately and the odd irregular heart beat. But can a doc ascertain heart conditions just from a simple check up?

    So if you have no underlying heart condition its all safe then hm?

    If you are hypersensitive to caffeine. I would assume that you could be hypersensitive to clen. Also, if you couldn't handle one hydroxycut pill, I very much doubt you will be able to handle clen.

    It's all about diet. Taking something isn't going to magically make you lose weight.

    "It's all about diet. Taking something isn't going to magically make you lose weight." Yes that is the aphorism that is thrown around here all the time. But my diet is good but I seem to be stuck on around 10-12% BF. So obviously I need something else and clen would aid in that.

    Your cardio sounds wussy and not very effective for fat burning. And I agree with everyone else; I think clen will really mess you up. And how is your LIFTING? Let me guess - "good"?

  13. #13
    What is wrong with cardio in fat burning HR zone? only other option is HIIT and that makes me feel like I want to vomit everytime. And no need to be cynical about it... yes my lifting is also 'good' and I take time to research all of my programs. The underlying assumption here seems to be because I am new to this forum I know nothing about proper exercise and nutrition. I have no problems there but I just need something to get under 10% BF. Obviously if good nutrition was all you needed to get to extremely low BF% then there would be no market for clen whatsoever...

    Wrong. Do you think clen is designed and labeled for human fat loss? No. You are cutting from 170ish pounds at 5'9", which is fairly small and should eisily be done with diet and cardio alone. And I am going to tell you the Gods-honest truth. I think you have a heart issue. You get sick with intense cardio, you cant handle caffine, cant handle hydroxycut, small for your size. It sounds like you need to get to a doctor and rule anything out before you do anything else. I have some heart problems too, and you cant be too careful with checking up. And if you cnt handle a stimulant that billions of people use everyday, you CANT handle clen. It doesnt give you simple "jitters", it gives full blown "shakes". It will cause your heart rate to skyrocket. If you have an underlying condition, you can permantly injure your heart by abusing it, or worse, go into some crazy cardiac arrest or suffer cardiac trauma that leads to arrest. Dont use clen, you will more than likey suffer from it. Work hard and lose the fat by your own hard work. It will last longer and will be more satisfying knowing you did it yourself. GO TO SEE A DOCTOR! Good luck.

    The thing that's wrong with your cardio is that it obviously is not working for you. Why would you keep doing something that doesn't work?

    If all you can handle is low-intensity stuff, try 60 minutes rather than 20.

    And yes, your stats do sound kind of on the small side. Do you actually have a lot of excess fat to lose? Maybe you'd get the look you were after if you put on more mass instead.

    Well yeah... drug for extreme asthma or whatever. Was meaning in the context of BB circles. Point noted about the clen. Will not try it. If anyone knows any alternative products that are good for fat burning feel free to suggest them up. Yes I could potentially have a heart issue; I am hoping that I may have these effects simply because I have not done much cardio over the last 4 years; pretty much lifting alone.

    I think you can achieve the results you want by simply taking your diet and workouts to the next level. I dont see how you have any fat at 5' 9" and 163. I'm 5'9" and 186 with very little body fat.

    r u eating 6-8 meals per day? cutting down big time on rice and bread?
    dont touch unnatural sugar(candy, soda, etc)
    you can also run and not lose muscle. Natural muscle is not that easy to lose. I put on some muscle in my teens and I've gotten fat and skinny a dozen times in the last 20 years. The muscle never went away....unless you are running 9 miles a day and starving yourself. scooby gives some great advice on keeping muscle while running, youtube it.

    for me, CEN is like 30 cups of coffee. I shake and anything i touch vibrates lol. forget about sleeping for 2 weeks

    Yes I will try up the cardio. Reason I have stuck with it is due to my last years cut; lost over 10lbs in a month at a 500 deficit WITHOUT cardio so I am mindful of going overboard and wasting away (extreme ectomorph).

    I have hardly any fat to lose. Think I am around 10% wanna hit 7. [will upload pic when i hit 25 posts]

    Aim to go on a bulk again after losing the last bit of fat. thanks

    With regard to your post seamonster;

    Im still eating brown rice. no bread. I fit my macros though; 40/40/20 on 2300 cal (200 cal deficit)

    no unnatural sugar. no. only fruit i have is blueberries which some may criticise...

    Dont do this. If you are 10% and wanting to cut to 7, then bulk, you will just be puttingthat little amount of fat you were trying to lose back on. It will be a repeating cycle for you. Stick to a bulk and get to a bit more than your desired weight. Even if it takes you 2 or more years. THEN cut to your desired weight. That only makes sense. Good to hear you arent going to clen, I hate the stuff. You need to go see a DR before you decide to take any fat burner just to rule out heart problems. After the DR, if everything is ok, maybe try an OTC thermogenic with a dialed in diet.
