50 and having a mid life crisis
To those 45 and over,
I starting working out seriously at 17. Did my first cycle at 21 after my girlfriend dumped me. Cycled on and off till the age of 26. Competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting tournaments. Won some and placed in others. Now look forward 25 years. Married, kids grown, still workout and train in brazilian jiu jitsu. I have noticed in the last 6 years my strength is slowly decreasing. My energy is still good but getting weaker, not to mention the joints starting to hurt probably from the years of heavy lifting in my youth.
Since I have been out of the loop for 25 years I have some questions:
have steroids changed that much?
In the 80's, I got mine from doctors, but now is everything is underground?
Is the stuff (I assume) coming from overseas any good?
Am I better off doing hormone therapy like the gel?
Would growth hormone help or hurt me?
ThanksLast edited by ctenosaura; 11-15-2012 at 11:19 PM. Reason: My question sounded like fishing, although it wasn't.
