    Help

I'm on my first tren cycle. 4 shots in. I did one earlier in the week in one of my pecs. Since then, my pec has been getting bigger every day. It feels very hard like dense rubber, not soft muscle tissue. I don't believe I have an abscess or infection bc the area is not red or inflamed like you'd see a typical infection. I'd describe it as a "knot" in my pec muscle. I have done more shots in different sites since then, and the others have all been fine. Can anyone tell me what is going on with me? Thanks

Sounds like it is inflamed from trauma. Occasionally this will happen if your hand is not steady and you've inadvertently traumatized the muscle surrounding the injection point deep in the muscle. Or even more frequent when its virgin muscle.

    Have you injected there before?

As long as it is not red and warm to the touch, you should be ok. But this is simply my opinion. Perhaps others will chime in.

Has it decreased in size at all? I would give it a few more days and if it doesnt start to decrease then see a Dr.

My pec always is larger after pinning. The other day my left pec was almost double the size the of my right.

It should go away in a few day. I've noticed that the chest is sensitive, at least for me. It will get even larger if you train it the following days.

Still one of my favorite sites to pin. Maybe try a smaller gauge? What are you using?

Nothing to worry about as Mickey indicated. It's an inflammatory response to the small needle trauma and the oils sitting in the fascia. It will absorb and the swelling will reduce. Could take as long as a week but no longer.

Not to hijack, but why inject in the pec rather than the many other places on the body?

I'm not sure that was his only injection site. I believe the question was simply about a reaction to the injection.

I am far from experienced, but I always inject in my ass cheeks... Is there anything wrong with that? It just seems easier and I've never had pip that I read about...

Absolutely no problem but ideally you should rotate injection zones 10-14 days. So if you'reinjections are EOD, you would need more than just the glutes ideally. I rotate between delts, glutes, quads, pecs. I've also injected in the triceps, biceps, calves, and traps.

I don't think my triceps are big enough yet! Lol 1.5 inch would be straight to the bone... Jk, but still seems sketchy unless you are huge!

I get those knots on tren as well. Not every injection, but i expect it to happen a couple times a cycle. It will decrease and eventually go away in a week or so. Not to worry. But like mentioned, if it happens to get warm to the touch time to seek medical advice.

Ouch. 1.5 inch in the tricep is gonna hurt anyone. Lol. 1/2 inch would suffice for most people at that spot. I used to use 1 inch on quads but was hitting too many vessels. I backed off to 1/2 inch. Injection is a bit shallow but still getting the job done. I only use longer needles on my glutes.

As long as you're rotating every 10-14 days. With one injection spot, that's not likely. The reason is, rotating through several injection areas reduces the formation of scar tissue which will occur by injecting the same area more than once within 10-14 days. Scar tissue isn't a problem at first but with repeated injections it will become more painful and harder to inject through. You should have about 2-3 different muscles (at least) to rotate your injections.

No problem. Delts (lateral and rear) are painless for me. I avoid the front though because I've had shoulder issues in the past and gear in the front delt aggravates the problem; quads are good but are more vascular and there are some larger peripheral nerves that you can hit and cause some twitching. Pecs are good. Calves, biceps, and triceps are more painful but some guys love them. I'm running a stack now so the PIP is worse in smaller muscles and I try to avoid pinning them right now.

screw that. ive seen people not walk after doing calves. i LOVE my tri's. lats and biceps are good too. i hate glutes unless someone is doing the shot for me, i start cramping mid way though. quads are ok, they are sore most times. delts are the worst, always hurt like hell. everyone is different. try different spots and see what works for you
