Questions about first cycle
So start off by saying I am 31 years old and have been lifting for 3 years heavy. I have not done any cycles to date but am considering one.
Stats:
6'
255lbs
17.7% BF
I do strong man not bodybuilding
Diet: 3000 cals a day 49%protein,27%fats,24%carbs
Not interested in getting cut up interested in building muscle
If I start a cycle of T400 200 cyp 100prop 100e, 1cc per week broken into 2 pins, how many weeks to see results. How many weeks should I run a first cycle? How many times a week at the most should I hit the gym? I currently go at least 4 times a week. Thanks for the input
Again I have not yet decided on doing this but this is what I was thinking, I am honestly not sure if I will even go through with it at this point.

6'255 and 3000 cal seems slightly below maintenance to me. I'm 6' 213 and I cut at 2600 cal...I think u need to look at ur diet a lol closer.

Thanks Tron, that is about maintenance for me, I will be bumping that up to around 4000 if I were to start this cycle, but I am wondering about my other questions regarding the cycle. Do you have any advice there?

If your stats are accurate your LBM should be 210. That x 15 puts your TDEE at 3150. You need to increase by 500 cals or more to bulk. The opposite to cut.

Ok thanks I will defiantly up the cals if I decide to go this route, can you help with any of the other questions?

Is this ur first cycle?
R u aware of the increase in health issues with bf% being on the higher end?

Yes this would be a first cycle. I am not aware of the issues Tron, I would appreciate any knowledge you can give me. I know a bunch of guys that are similar to me that have done it and made great gains in strength that is what has me interested in trying it. As far as I know they have not had any adverse sides but I haven't gotten into details about it with them.

Ok I understand. Realistcally my idea or plan was simply to do this one cycle to make some strength gains and then not do it again, I am just trying to get a jump start and help hurdle me over some platues that I am in right now. What other suggestions other than a cycle can you offer, if a cycle isn't the best idea for this?

Thanks for the input on advers sides, I did some research last night and found out much more about them. I honestly do not have a lot of interest in continuing with cycles at this point not really sure I even want to go through with even one cycle. I checked the diet section of this site and am going to make some changes to my current diet. I am still a little confused on how I can cut my BF while increasing gains in strength. Any tips on that?

So another question. I just talked to a guy who started his cycle 2 1/2 weeks ago. He is doing T400 1cc per week split into two pins. He has already gained 30lbs on his dead lift and 50lbs on his squat. Is this likely more a placebo effect or is this how powerful this stuf is. He doesn't look "bigger" but claims he's making huge strength gains just 2 1/2 weeks in that only 1000mg of t400 if my math is correct
