    Questions about first cycle

    So start off by saying I am 31 years old and have been lifting for 3 years heavy. I have not done any cycles to date but am considering one.

    Stats:
    6'
    255lbs
    17.7% BF
    I do strong man not bodybuilding
    Diet: 3000 cals a day 49%protein,27%fats,24%carbs
    Not interested in getting cut up interested in building muscle

    If I start a cycle of T400 200 cyp 100prop 100e, 1cc per week broken into 2 pins, how many weeks to see results. How many weeks should I run a first cycle? How many times a week at the most should I hit the gym? I currently go at least 4 times a week. Thanks for the input

    Again I have not yet decided on doing this but this is what I was thinking, I am honestly not sure if I will even go through with it at this point.

    6'255 and 3000 cal seems slightly below maintenance to me. I'm 6' 213 and I cut at 2600 cal...I think u need to look at ur diet a lol closer.

    Thanks Tron, that is about maintenance for me, I will be bumping that up to around 4000 if I were to start this cycle, but I am wondering about my other questions regarding the cycle. Do you have any advice there?

    If your stats are accurate your LBM should be 210. That x 15 puts your TDEE at 3150. You need to increase by 500 cals or more to bulk. The opposite to cut.

    Ok thanks I will defiantly up the cals if I decide to go this route, can you help with any of the other questions?

    For your first cycle, keep it simple.

    1. 500mg test-E OR test-c total per week delivered in two or three treatments.
    2. Total treatment at 12 weeks.
    3. Adex, 0.25mg q.a.d
    4. HCG
    5. PCT (clomid & tamoxifen )

    R u aware of the increase in health issues with bf% being on the higher end?

    Thanks for doin the math for me lol I knew it seemed a tad low...but I'm driving lol I'm on I-10 in west Texas, I'm sure u know how fun this drive is lol. Long and straight with nothin around

    Yes this would be a first cycle. I am not aware of the issues Tron, I would appreciate any knowledge you can give me. I know a bunch of guys that are similar to me that have done it and made great gains in strength that is what has me interested in trying it. As far as I know they have not had any adverse sides but I haven't gotten into details about it with them.

    I think it's a general consensus around here that 15% is where we like to see bf(not far from where you're at) but for several reasons including increase in heart disease, higher bf tends to b a breeding ground for aromatose, and it's a sign of diet dedication. U can read for days on adverse reaction of aas with higher bf. not to mention bf will only increase as u bulk. And they may not see negative results now, could take years, especially with long term usage. People on this forum are highly dedicated to aas being as safe as possible.

    Ok I understand. Realistcally my idea or plan was simply to do this one cycle to make some strength gains and then not do it again, I am just trying to get a jump start and help hurdle me over some platues that I am in right now. What other suggestions other than a cycle can you offer, if a cycle isn't the best idea for this?

    A very common effect of steroids is hypercholesterolemia which results in elevated blood pressure and hypertension (HTN). These and many other side effects are more likely and carry greater risks the higher your bf. Many such side effects which can be life threatening are not readily visible - for example, can you tell by looking at someone if they are hypertensive? No. High blood pressure also increases risks for cardiac events such as heart disease, stroke, myocardial infarctions, as well as damage to other organs (kidney being one such organ).

    I'm not saying cycling is a BAD idea IF all other options have been exhausted. Take a good look at diet, training and even supplements. If those r all in check and ur still plateauing then by all means lol. The nutrition section is a great place to start. Do some research before u start ur first cycle to make sure u can maximize and keep (most) of ur gains.

    Lol...."just one cycle" is like "just one tattoo" or "just one potato chip". Few people, if anyone, stops after one cycle.

    I thought mine disappeared once. No hcg on cycle and there was nothing in my sack. Turns out they just got real small and sucked up lol got the beans above the frank! Lol

    Thanks for the input on advers sides, I did some research last night and found out much more about them. I honestly do not have a lot of interest in continuing with cycles at this point not really sure I even want to go through with even one cycle. I checked the diet section of this site and am going to make some changes to my current diet. I am still a little confused on how I can cut my BF while increasing gains in strength. Any tips on that?

    So another question. I just talked to a guy who started his cycle 2 1/2 weeks ago. He is doing T400 1cc per week split into two pins. He has already gained 30lbs on his dead lift and 50lbs on his squat. Is this likely more a placebo effect or is this how powerful this stuf is. He doesn't look "bigger" but claims he's making huge strength gains just 2 1/2 weeks in that only 1000mg of t400 if my math is correct
