    EQ for the sole purpose of endurance events

    35 yo bike racer. Not interested in EPO. What are the groups thoughts on EQ for the sole purpose of racing where endurance and power are equally important. I've read how folks have taken EQ and anavar as a cycle. Also: winstrol /anavar/masteron /primo/Eq. I get how the typical cycles of AS isn't a good fit, but anyone have positive results and or knowledge for endurance specific.....Thanks.

    My first cycle was 500mg test and 500 eq per week. This was my 4 year doing triathlons. This year I trained half as much and continued lifting and I still had better times compared to the previous year. I was also able to build muscle and strength while having 6-9 cardio sessions per week.

    I actually was cycling EQ while training for my Marathon. In all honesty my training went well and steadily increased. However, I don't credit the endurance to EQ, i simply credit it to the training. Plus, any AAS puts extra strain on your cardiovascular functions and raises blood pressure. Days when my diet wasn't as strong, training kicked my ass. I think your best bet is proper diet and training for peak results. But if you're set in cycling, EQ shouldn't hold you back too much as long as you load yourself with the proper nutrients and diet.

    EQ raises RBC but does that mean it increases endurance? It also increased blood pressure and retains water. Testosterone strengthens the muscle tissue and can help increase your training intensity. I suspect with the increase in training intensity your cardio endurance will go up. I'm not told that EQ will increase your endurance.

    Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I see what you are saying scotch. What are the groups thoughts on running this as a cycle at the front of my training yr doing daily hours of easy cardio on the bike (base mileage) while looking to stay healthy, strong and lean out.

    5'10, 176 lbs
    Need to be at 160.

    Testosterone -Propionate : 100mg/eod throughout a 12 week cycle
    Anavar - 50-80 mg/ed
    HGH 4iu/ed
    Clenbuterol 2 week on / off
    Arimidex 0.5mg/eod throughout a 12 week cycle

    At those doses you are going to be putting on some extra muscle. Not a bad thing but for your goals it will make you heavier and in turn much slower. You only want enough testosterone to help you recover much quicker so you can train harder. The anavar will give you pumps in your legs that will far from benefit your running. I would suggest switching the anavar for tbol or a lower dose of winny (assuming your joints are strong). Also 2-3ius of pharma hgh would be sufficient for recovery purposes. also may consider 200-300mgs of EQ.

    this is also an interesting post i found on this site a while back by an ironman guy:

    "I'm an avid endurance athlete and coach. In fact, I just personally came off a cycle after finishing an Ironman triathlon (2.4 mi swim, 112 mi bike and 26.2 mi marathon).

    I highly recommend the following cycle: 125mg of Sus250 every week, 200mg EQ every week and 2iu HGH daily following a 5/2 cycle. I know this seems like nothing in the BB world but this is a very effective / popular cycle for endurance athletes.

    In endurance athletes natural testostrone is always suppressed to some degree. The 1/2cc of Sus250 just ensures the T levels stay on the high side of normal. Anymore and you will either hold water or put on muscle that you don't need or both. The EQ increases RBC without the risks associated with EPO. The hgh helps a great deal with recovery from the enormous amounts of long slow training volume that must be done as well as helps to increase overall endurance.

    Unfortunately info about AAS and their use by endurance athletes is very hard to find. It would be great if the mods would create a new section to discuss the subject. That would certainly give this forum an edge over the others on the web."
