    What's with the pathetic results?

I really don't want to be mean and hurt people's feelings and all that sh** but what's with the pathetic results I see people posting on the anabolic steroid forum? Like every single person who posts pics of his before and after, after a 500mg 12 week test e cycle for example, looks almost no different than when he started...

This is leading me to believe that the majority of steroid users are those who are too lazy to put in the work in the first place, with or without steroids .

Am I wrong? Do I just expect too much of a change in a person's physique after a 12 week cycle?

It takes years not weeks! It's only obtainable for people willing to put in the time, cycles, diet, lifting, and cardio!!! Not overnight... It takes months and years for people to get big... No matter what you take...

Let me make two things clear here:

1 - You, as well as most people, are most definitely expecting far too much from a typical 12 week cycle. Yes, anabolic steroids work very well. Yes, they produce results that are far more significant than anything available over the counter. But they are still nowhere near what most people here WANT them to be. A 12 week cycle will not turn someone into Jay Cutler. To obtain physiques like that, assuming one has the genetics for it, requires YEARS upon YEARS of cycles one after the other. Just as how the average joe blow out there thinks that AAS are magic pills that allows you to wake up the next morning looking like Jay Cutler (and we all facepalm at that don't we?), we too within the AAS using community have very similar misconceptions among ourselves. This is also why some people will do a cycle and wonder "WHY ISN'T MY GEAR WORKING!?". Well, its because you've expected far too much out of AAS! And guess what - the gains diminish less and less as you make more progress cycle after cycle until it gets to the point where you'd be lucky to get even 5 lbs. of lean mass out of one cycle!

2 - Not everyone is using AAS to become the biggest guy out there. It's not everyone's goal to be massive. We tend to think that AAS users (especially the more experienced users) are gigantic beasts when we see they have 5+ years of cycling under their belt or whatever. The truth is that less than 20% of us have the genetics to be anywhere NEAR as huge as a pro, let alone the fact that many of us aren't even aspiring to have physiques like that. Almost 4 years ago I got pretty big, I reached about 225 lbs. at 10-13% bodyfat but I lost it all when I hit a period where I couldn't maintain my nutrition and training. It takes A LOT of consistency in one's nutrition to get big and remain that way, and it can be lost very easily by a little slip-up here and there. Although I do eat 6x a day and I intake 2500-3000 cals on average to maintain what I have, I am happy where I am. I'm working to get just a bit closer to what my largest was a few years ago before I lost it, but being the biggest motherfvcker in the gym is NOT my goal any more. And as many younger guys around here get older, they'll realize that too! I have a type of physique in mind that I wish to obtain and maintain, and i'm happy with that. Not every experienced vet and AAS user has to be a big huge massive cow, you know...

Awesome awesome post Atomini. You hit the nail on the head. This "got to have it now" mentality is pathetic. If people actually took the time to educate themselves as we ask them to, they'd understand this is a process; a journey. Not a damn over night success.

    From Wikipedia:

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Not to mention many of the people with bad results receive fake gear without knowing. Surprised how they would not assume that gear is fake after not gaining much.

A lot of people don't know how to train correctly to build serious muscle and they also have no idea how to eat enough of the right foods to explode out of skin. Ive seen it for years in all the gyms I've trained in, they all take the right gear but don't have a clue how to eat to the extremes and to train correctly.

Many think they are eating and training correctly but they don't have a clue.

When Marcus meant training correctly I don't believe it was a particular routine as such, he was making a point that a lot of people lack the real determination and mind power to push to absolute limits, and are unable to actually recruit the muscle they are suppose to be working.

That's what I took from it anyway and I totally agree, diet included.

This is absolutely correct and is exactly what Marcus was referring to. There is no 'magic routine' that gives results. Getting results with the proper training and nutrition is actually extremely basic, straightforward, and simple. Reason why people can't do so is because they're making excuses as to why they can't because they're too lazy. Proper training is generally training hard enough to stimulate growth in the body, tempered with proper and adequate amounts of rest so as to allow the body to recuperate, fuelled by proper nutrition to feed and facilitate this muscle growth. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

There is no magic routine, no magic diet. Just the right path, and the question as to whether or not one has the willpower to continue down that path.

You gotta be more specific, a 12 week cycle most of the time will not add the LBs like 20 week cycle will. Regardless of the stack everyone's genetics will let them grow diff and everyone will have a diff commitment to there cycle. Yes there's some lazy ppl will sit on the couch and think the 100mg a dbol will make em huge till they come off and lose all the water but some ppl will take a proper stack with good results and pictures might not always show how significant it was like my first cycle 4 years ago I went from 178 to 220 in just under 3 months but as you can see it doesn't seem like a big diff

These are things I completely understand. I don't expect drastic results, but 90% of everyone's after pics look JUST like their before pics. Except for a few pimples.

No offense my friend, but how tall are you for 42lbs to make such a small difference to your physique? I see an improvement overall; traps, shoulders, chest, arms. But nothing that hints at a 40+ lb gain.

Fantastic job man! I believe it. Not to mention that in your before pic you were flexing the fu** out of it, in the after you are much more relaxed and still you look MUCH bigger.
