Yawning after almost each set?
I noticed since I started the cycle that I yawn too much in the gym, especially after a set, I get enough sleep so I am no way sleepy or anything. I did a research and read that yawing can be associated with the brain cooling down, do you think that's what's happening? That after a heavy set and the blood pressure the brain cools off and I yawn? Does anybody else yawn too often in the gym? Otherwise I am kinda liking it, it feels good to take a deep refreshing breath after a set.

Are you running an AI? Too much much AI perhaps? Low E2?
What is your complete cycle?

Yeah there are some studies relating to yawning and the brain cooling a bit late now but I will have a look tomorrow.
It could also be a few other reason
Boredom- same routine
Lack of oxygen or a build up of carbon dioxide-this can happen if your inhaling/exhaling to fast whilst your training
Very broad question that acidking could be hard to determine the answer. I wonder how you would test it whilst your training

I control my breath while lifting and I almost never rep too fast. Certainly not bordom, I always get quite excited about every set.
I am running:
Sust 500mg a week (2 split)
Nandrolone blend 250mg a week (2 split)
Exemestane 12.5mg ED
Tamoxifen 2.5mg ED
dbol 20mg ED (week 1-5)
I am in week 7 of 12 now, seeing good gains so far.
Could an AI cause that? Should I try EOD day instead of ED?Last edited by acidking; 11-25-2012 at 03:29 PM.

I yawn during my workouts occasionally. I don't give it much thought but I guess my brain just needs oxygen.

Thanks. I'll drop it to EOD for a week re-evaluate, though I don't think I have the symptoms of low/high estro, the yawning maybe normal.

It's probably just lethargy. I get it bad when running high doses of Dbol .
Just about any compound can cause it, but I don't really know why.
Do you find yourself dragging ass everyday and sleeping more than normal?

Not at all, no tiredness or depression of any kind, feeling positive and hyperactive throughout the day. Sleep is adequate, 6 hours at night and a couple of hours nap sometime after workout. It's probably just need for oxygen after a heavy set. Otherwise I should probably get some practice in controlling estro levels, I am just beginning to find how important it is.

You need to breathe properly.

I don't think it's a cycle issue. I yawn about 5 times between every set and always feel light headed and as if I'm about to pass out in the gym. I reckon it's because I don't breathe during sets, I'm holding my breath for a total of 20mins per 1hr workout, that can't be good.

I do breath between sets, and between rips, in fact between sets I make sure to sit up straight with the chest expanded and breath and hold for a couple of secs, I keep doing this for a couple of mins until my next set, this way I get more oxygen into the blood for the next set.

I thought to revisit this thread to mention I might know what the excessive yawning may have been about, it may have been high cholesterol causing shortness of breath resulting in yawning. Noteworthy to mention a couple of weeks ago when I was on my nightly cardio walk I had some worrying shortness of breath on my way back, I pulled myself together and made it home, soon after my blood pressure shot up and I could feel the heat in my ears and they were red, I thought it may have been a surge of the testosterone after the walk hence I shoot in the quad, but now I think it may have been the cholesterol, today I took 10mg of Simvastatin to lower the cholesterol and I feel generally better. Is it ok to use statins on cycle when needed?
I haven't done an LDL HDL test, but for now I think I will be upping my cardio. Outside my AAS cycle I never put on water weight or suffer cholesterol issues, neither there is an issue with cholesterol in the family.

What do you think about what I was saying about cholesterol? Is it ok to use statin drugs if needed?

Not sure on the cholesterol, but I lowered my AI dose and feel 100 times better. I was having the same issues and after about a week I feel GREAT! I was half a sleep and yawning in the gym. NO2 energy drinks... nothing helped.

I've had this problem before . But only when I took certain pre workout drinks.
I stopped drinking them and the yawning stopped.

Problem is sorted, it must have been the cholesterol, I dropped the eggs from my diet, hence eggs have alot of cholesterol, and reduced the salt to minimum, I used to have a lot of salt, mostly from soy sauce. Haven't yawned not even once in the last couple of days, breathing is better and workout feels better. Only took the statin twice, won't be taking it any more.
I've had almost all symptoms of high cholesterol, high BP, light headedness, dizziness, anxiety, shortness of breath, numbness in limbs, all mostly in the evening.
