Long esters, how do you keep off water retention???

All my cycles have been short esters. Test p, Tren a etc. I'm tired of pinning eod especially since the prop feels like I'm injecting alcohol. So my question is, if I switched to test e and tren e would I retain alot of water? If so is there a way to keep it off?

water retention has nothing to do with the ester. It is caused by a number of things including water intake, E2 levels, diet and sodium

So as long as I maintain a good clean diet and sodium intake, and keep my e2 levels in check I won't retain that much water?
