What to say to the doctor?

Well for those of you who know or are following along, I'm running a gyno reversal log right now.
    Thats a different thread.

Anyways Lets say this log doesn't work and the only other option is surgery or going to the doctors.
I've herd that you could get insurance to cover gyno surgery if you say your in pain and it effects your ability to be happy in life?
Thats a side question but back to my real question.

If I go to the doctors which I might in the future, what should I tell him?
Should I not say anything and just tell him I have these lumps that hurt.
or should I tell him that I took a ph and thats how I got the lumps.
AT THE TIME THE PH I TOOK WAS LEGAL if that matters to a doctor or not.

Somebody give me an opinion or thought on what I should tell my doctor.

The truth is always a good place to start... especially when it comes to your health.

You need to be careful with this truth stuff unless you dont care about your future as in employment or insurance options. Yes if it's life theatening and either you tell him or you might die but other than that it's gyno. You could have had gyno since you were a kid. Maybe you have been eating to much Soy & Tofu as well as a lot of milk or at the VERY most information I would give him is some test boosters you got from GNC but nothing in regard to AAS use.

Any chance you will ever have a job where you need a security clearance? Not to worry if you have something like this on your record because you wont get it. Ask me 15 years ago if i would ever need one and I would say hell now. Slightly different answer now. Think ALL your medical information is private via patient/doctor? They why does your insurance seem to know so much and any of those health assessment people who call? If you dont know what I'm talking about you will. Eventually you will have to let insurance know/see everything or forfeit coverage if you dont think so then just wait and see. It's getting closer all the time.

Our company 5 years ago started offering each employee a $25 gift card to fill out a health assessment study along with your BP, cholesterol, BF and other things. Sounds good right? I said when they started doing that OMG watch it will become mandatory in a few years. Everyone LOL at me and said I was being paranoid. Guess what? No it's not mandatory. If you decide NOT to fill it out it will just cost you $20 per month more for you and each family member, but that's not considered mandatory is it????

You need to think real hard before you jump on the honesty is the best policy statement all the time.

Unless it is life threatening tell them nothing. Once it goes in your file it is there for ever. If ANYTHING happens medically after that you may be denied based on it. This will extend to life insurance as well. I was honest once and it has not been easy since. If they can deny a claim based on something you did to yourself they will. It won't matter if it did or not it's their out. Tell them nothing.

Same goes for you wife or significant other. It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Nice to see another voice of logic.

Im getting gyno surgery in february next year. It only costs 4 grand. Ill only have to pay 1800$ the Government pays the rest with public health system. I just went into the doctor and asked for a referral to a plastic surgeon. He felt my nippels and could feel the hard lumps and said no dramas.
    This is in australia.

Edit: as soon as i told the doctor i have a gyno outbreak he response was do you take hormones i said yes. He then feels my nippels gave me 4 months worth of arimidex(thats 4 boxes of 30 1g pills each box) he then gave me a referal to plastic surgeon. I dont no how things are in america but it should not matter what you tell your doctor.
