New cycle ready. Syringe Filter question

Ok so I have all my gear ready (test 400 & deca 300) and the last time i was on AR-R ordering my Letro and pins I noticed they have syringe filters. Now are these only for production (brew) purposes or can I take the extra precaution and use them?
    Thanks,
    Cam

If you don't trust your UGL, it would be wise to refilter it into an empty sterile vial.
