Will some explain difference between Ampules And Vials? And How to Use the Ampules

Ok so here is my question. I understand that Vials come in various sizes from 5ml-20ml or larger with 10 ml being most common. Also understand or believe that Amps. come as 1ml. but how do you use the amps are they better or worse to use or just different? do you have to break the top off the glass amp. if so how do you draw them up is there advantage to them? Any other info about them and their use that would or could be helpful. thanks in advance for the education.

It is very simple!

Amp- break the top and draw the oil( big plus it that the needle is not going into rubber top of the vial and you don't need to switch the needle.

Vial- need to clean the top, put same amount of air in that you will be drawing, draw the oil, switch the needle for new one and inject.

Amps usually contain 1 dose and if you are not using it all then you need to transfer it to a vial. Amps are a pain in the ass...end of story!

Vials alow the gear to stay sterile and in larger quantities...much more convienent!

With amps it can be a pain in the ass.
You can get 1,2and 5ml ampoules.
They will have a slight score in them on one side often marked with a coloured dot. The idea is you hold the Amo with this facing away from you and with thumb and forefinger apply slight pressure and the top will come off cleanly.
You can buy amp openers that snap the top off cleanly aswell.
I do prefer a 10ml vial to anything personally

Thanks thats what I thought but wanted to check with the people that knew. So it's mostly a preference as to which one likes best and the fact that Amps are single dose. Thanks so much you guys are an almanac of info, I learn so much here I just wanna say thanks!!!

I would take amps all day long over vials if they were a little more affordable and easier to make a solid break. Plus, less chance of contamination vs the numerous withdraws from a vial.

agreed, amps are more sterile, amps are less faked. amps are typically human grade not ugl.
