Anyone experience testicle pain from an injection site?
Sometimes when an injection depot is swollen up pretty good in my glute the testicle on that side is painfull...Anyone know if maybe the swelling is consticting some type of vein or other pathway thereby constricting bloodflow or something?

Sounds to me like classic symptoms of Testicular Atrophy.

Not sure if this relates, but thought I'd mention it....I had a bulging disc in my lower back. The pain shot right through my glute down the inside and outside of my right leg. My right testicle HURT. So there maybe a nerve in your glute that is being effected by swelling in your glute that ends in your sack or close by??? Right after surgery, everything went back to normal.
But my guess is Mickey nailed it. Atrophy.

No not atrophy.... it's only when I get a huge swelling on the glute and it goes away as soon as the swelling does. Also, if I do another inj. on the opposite glute with swelling then that testicle starts to hurt also. I know for a fact that this is something caused by the swelling because I started noticing this about 5 years ago. If no-one can answer I guess this will be a research project for me soon.

I think you may be getting somewhere with the nerve issue...however nerve pain will usually run the entire lenght of the nerve as I've had back surgery for this. The last part of your spine is the S region and possibly could be related to it. However I know for a fact that it is NOT atrophy as this has happened dozens of times over the years and starts and stops with the swelling!

You might be pinning too close to your sciatica. Don't do that, if you are.

I only get it when I inject and hit myself in the balls at the same time, this usually gives me latent testicle pain.

No not close to sciatica been doing this since 89' and this would only cause a sharpe pain down the back of the leg. I will repeat this...... IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I HAVE SIGNIFICANT SWELLING IN THE GLUTE AND IT ONLY CORRESPONDS TO THE TESTICLE ON THAT SIDE. I guess that this is definately going to be a reasearch project.. guess I will get someone at school who is in Med school to help me out....most of the guys that have finished Chemical Engineering, which is my field, have moved to Pre -Med as well as some hormone users so maybe they can help. Thanks for the input guys!

Only cervicle C6-7. Like I mentioned, nerve pain radiates the length of the nerve and is not localized. As far as the physiology of testicle pain (atrophy or getting kicked in the nuts) there has to be some kind of nerve endings and maybe they are being fired in reverse by some kind of resriction caused by swelling.???

One possible theory????
Pudendal nerve damage (neuropathy), also called "bicycle seat neuropathy," may cause numbness or pain. Pudendal nerve damage can result from the pressure of prolonged or excessive bicycle riding (e.g., competitive cycling), especially improper seat position or riding techniques are used. Special bicycle seats have been designed to decrease pressure on the perineum, potentially preventing or resolving this problem.
Pudendal neuralgia is the painful type of this nerve damage. Sometimes called "cyclist's syndrome," pudendal neuralgia is painful inflammation of the pudendal nerve. The pudendal nerve carries sensations to the genitals, urethra, anus, and perineum (area between the scrotum and anus), so the pain can be felt in any of these areas. Pain can be piercing and is more likely to be noticed while sitting.
According to The Society for Pudendal Neuralgia, pudendal neuralgia also may result from structural abnormalities, repetitive stress from sports or chronic constipation, or surgery. If untreated, nerve damage can lead to erectile dysfunction or problems with bowel movements or urination, such as involuntary loss of feces or urine (e.g., urinary incontinence).
Testicular or scrotal pain occurs when part or all of either one or both testicles hurt. Pain in the scrotum is also often included. Testicular pain may be either acute, subacute or chronic depending on its duration. Causes rank from benign muscular skeletal problems to emergency conditions such as Fournier's gangrene and testicular torsion.
Inflammation of the sacroiliac joints and associated ligaments are very common, especially following pregnancy where the hormone relaxing is released and this results in the relaxation of ligaments in preparation for childbirth. In most cases the causes of sacroiliitis are mechanical, however there may be other medical inflammatory conditions present such as Ankylosing Spondylitis as well as others which will need attention.
Symptoms include:
Pain located either to the left or right of your lower back. The pain can range from an ache to a sharp pain which can restrict movement.
The pain may radiate out into your buttocks and low back and will often radiate to the front into the groin. Occasionally it is responsible for pain in the testicles among males.Last edited by kolaking; 12-23-2012 at 11:16 AM.
