Knee pain from quad injection?
I just Injected my right quad for the first time on Monday, my first cycle I stuck strictly to glute shots. Anyway, I have absolutely no virgin muscle pain in my quad itself, but I have a feeling of inflammation above my right knee cap. Not the end of the world, but just kind of weird, has this happened to anybody else?

my first cycle quad injects was all I did. never had pain in the knee. if your quad is sore you could be compensating and putting extra strain on your knee.

My second pin did the same thing, felt odd for a day then went away. Almost as if it traveled from the injection spot and pooled up right above the knee.

I think it's mental. You were expecting pain so you crested this in your head so now your paranoid and your knee hurts. You'd be surprised how often people have pain do created in their heads. Just saying.

yep its a 23g 1", I wish I had gotten 25's for my quads
yeah that is exactly what it feels like, obviously its not the oil, but it feels like fluid built up above my kneecap, its been 3 days and the feeling is almost completely gone, but its just weir and kind of makes me not want to inject my quads .
I know what you mean, but the feeling is very real, I am in tune with my body and am definitely able to stop and recognize a feeling for what it is. You should talk to my girlfriend about pain manifestations, because she always swears she has mystery aches and pains haha

It could be a knee problem but it just happened to manifest at the same general time as your injection. If it persists I would consider getting it checked out!

this has happened to me once on a quad injection but I think I injected to low on the quad near the knee so I feel it did infact pool up in
/around my knee and cause discomfort and sweeling for about a week...so those of you that think that couldent happen, well it did for me and sucked...just saying...

riddle me this...how is it that injections are given IM, SubQ and intradermal all the time and the substance doesn't "move"?
Consider that if the injection was too shallow it was injected into fat instead of muscle...again it would create a depot where it would sit until it is absorbed into the system. The idea that a pool of oil can travel from one location to another through muscle or fat seems unbelieveable. I couldnt find anything one way or the other to support my claim but it doesnt seem logical.
This would mean anytime someone does a subQ pin they need to lay down and not move till all of the oil is absorbed into the blood streem???

I don't know how it happened, but on that note how do people inject into the delt and have a knot develop a few inches down from the injection site...its happened to me and others over the years...so did the compound move? I have no idea bro I just know I been at this for years and have seen different issues like the op's...im not trying to get in a pissing contest with you cus you may be right...but I don't know how you can argue my experience...it may not make sence science wise, again im not a doctor, but its what I experienced...

Sorry GB..not arguing (maybe a bit). I'm just more interested in determing if and how this happens and if perhaps there is another explanation. Perhaps a fluid buildup from something else? I tried to find some info on the subject but failed. It just doesn't make sense in my head...hopefully someone more medicaly inclined can add some insight!

I feel like the most logical exponentiation is that it is some kind of fluid swelling that the body creates to try and fight the damage done my the intramuscular pinning, and it seems to pool around the nearest joint, i.e kneecap, elbow. Just guessing though, but I really do doubt that it is the oil itself.

I have the same issue today. I did inject a little lower on the quad than in the past. Swollen above knee pretty sore actually.
