    DNP Question - First Cycle

    A big Hi from India.

I am 31 years old and have been lifting some 4-5 years now. Planning to cut these last few pounds of fat through DNP. Its not for competition purposes, only for sheet vanity.

I understand that it is a serious drug and cannot be messed around with and have done tons of reading on our forums here and others on the internet and have spoken to a few Pros who have done it as well. I understand the risks and am willing to go along with it.

    (A) Dosage: 200mg for the first 5 days, 400mg for the next 5-7 days thereafter. Any inputs here?

    (B) Supplementation/ Ancilliaries:

    Beta Carotene (30mg/ 25000-30000 IU)
    Vit C (2-3g)
    Vit E (800-1200 IU)
    Calcium (1g-2g)
    CoQ10 (30mg*3)
    Antioxidant Complex
    Potassium Citrate (2-4g)
    Magnesium Citrate (1g)
    Melatonin (If needed)
    General Multivitamin
    Benadryl
    Calcium Pyruvate (2-4g)

Am I missing out on anything here?

    (C) Diet: A bit of a grey area here. I am definitely carb-depleting 4-5 days prior to starting my first DNP dose. Once I get started, I would like to be on a Ketogenic Diet preferably or perhaps a High protein and Veggies diet. I am in a bit of a fix since I have read this approach is prone to Cataract problems. Plenty of users online have attested to it. I was wondering if adding Pyruvate would help circumvent the risk maximally.

Also, I got a few loose pointers about Dan Duchaine's recommendation of a Carb depletion and then DNP and then a carb load somewhere in between. But its all messed up in my head.

Your inputs would help tons here.

    (D) Electrolyte Compensation: Does this mean both Sodium and Potassium? Drinking plenty of water is bound to affect both electrolytes right? Any cheap ways to include Sodium into the diet?

    (E) Adding a Yoh or ECA to DNP for energy bumps, good or a bad idea? If a good idea, can fructose be safely avoided?

    (F) Glycerol: is it the same as the cosmetic glycerine, and whether the latter is safe for internal consumption? Can Benadryl compensate?

Apologies if this post has landed in the wrong forum or is worded wrongly, in syntax or tone. English is not my first language and I have tried my best to convey my doubts and seek clarifications.

Thanks in advance to everyone, especially the seniors around here.

Why would you resort to poison to get rid of the "last few pounds of fat" and not just diet and cardio (the not lazy way), both which are safe and much healthier? No way is it worth the risk. Ask Marcus and Tgunz. T gunz has done it twice and still regets it.

    Hey, welcome to the forum.

I have done DNP and I have done it while running a Keto diet, so hopefully what I say helps you.

First off, I'd like to say I will never touch the stuff again. The reasons for this is: The sweating, the body heat, the lack of energy, the potential health risks and pretty much the over all experience just wasn't worth it for the small losses I saw.

That being said, if you are gonna run it then....

    1. Your dosing looks good

    2. I think you should carb deplete from 3 to 4 weeks going into the DNP then reincorporate carbs as you start then turn them on heavy when you up the dose to 400mg.

    3. I would do 1000mcg Injections of B12 ed while on the DNP and the week following.

I have attached 2 pictures of the reaction I had when I was coming off DNP.... My hands and body swelled way up and I had hives all over my body and they were bad, especially on the back of my head... no over the counter anti histamine would work for me, so after 5 days a doctor gave me some crazy intense stuff to stop the swelling and hives.... withing 18 hours it started to go away and within 96 hours was almost completely gone. I have had never experienced it again since that.

*edit* That swelling and hives is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life and I have been through some shit.... The pain, the itching.... I couldn't sleep, couldn't function normal couldn't pick up things with my hands... its was horrifying!

IMO you can lose the fat in much much much better ways, I would advise you to stay away from DNP almost everyone I know who has used it says after, it was not worth it and I will never put myself through that again.

If you're mind is made up and you are going to proceed just for personal experience, please be careful and listen to your body. Do not be afraid to go to a doctor if something seems wrong... remember you are ingesting poison. Also please log or post up your experience with DNP on this forum so others can learn from your experience.

    Hope that helps

    Bert

I understand there are definite risks but I FEEL its worth a hit. Like Bertuzzi guessed right, my mind's made up and I won't lie. Any way you can get the said gentlemen to view THIS thread and give their inputs?

Never had an issue or concern about sodium, just incorporated it into my diet... so don't have an opinion for you.

I would not add an ECA stack or clen.... like I said B12 injections

and last one I don't have an input regarding that.

    Good Luck
