    Young guy going on TRT. Do my stats warrant a blast sooner or later?

    24 5'6 123 lbs 10% bf (started out 120 lbs, 20% bf), been lifting for 3 years and BJJ for 5 years.

    Been hanging out at the TRT forum for a bit, wanted to ask this over here.
    On the last few bloodtests my levels were:
    TT was between 60-180 ng/dL (range 348-1197)
    Free T was 5-10 pg/mL (range 52-280)
    Super high SHBG 79.4 nmol/L (range 16.5-55.9)
    Estradiol <12 pg/mL (range <49)

    Now in 3 years of lifting I got a lot stronger, but haven't been able to gain much lean mass (~14.7 lbs) . I have my diet in check and training (SS, SL, RPT, etc and never miss a work out) so that isn't to blame. Now it could be that my low test prevented me from building a lot of muscle, or my genetic potential for growth isn't that great.

    Do you guys think I should keep training with TRT and not think about a blast till far in the future, or should I feel free to blast as soon as I have my TRT dialed in?

    Well my calorie amount tracked with my goals (expected weight gain/loss) but generally a a moderate carb low-moderate fat, moderate-high protein diet. When I was cutting I was getting about 180g pro, 45g fat, remainder cho. When i was bulking about 130-160g pro, 60 g fat, remainder cho.

    Food consists of lots of animals, a bevy of vegetables/leafy greens, brown/white rice, different types of potatoes, some protein powder, etc. 6g fish oil a day, multivitamins, joint supplements, creatine, bcaa, etc.

    Problem was my partitioning was always really off. My first bulk I went from 120-160 in about 9 months. Got much stronger but mostly fat. When I cut, I ended up coming back to 120 and barely visible musculature. bulked again to 140 at 0.5-1lb a week. Again, mostly fat. Cut back down again and here I am. I cut so far down thinking the lower bf% would confer magical nutrient partitioning effects. No such luck.
