    Training advise please!!!

During my cycle of test e and Deca I hurt my right tricep muscle that connects to the shoulder straining myself on some dumbbell bench press... I was literally mid cycle... 5 weeks later it is still killing me when I do anything with the tricep... I've been taking ibuprofen and icy hot just to get through my workouts... Now that I am pct would it really be bad if I didn't lift upper body for a few weeks to let it heal???

If youre injured you are injured. What did the doctor say?

The way you explain it connecting to your shoulder it sounds like it could be a rotator cuff tear/problem...You need to know your body, there is a BIG difference between soreness and dull pain or Sharp shooting pain that limits full arm movements...A minor injury should start feeling better in a week or two...If you're going into 3,4,5 weeks something is most likely wrong....

But first and FOREMOST I can tell you EXACTLY what you need to do..Find a doctor, not just ANY doctor, an ORTHOPEDIC doctor that specializes in shoulders....This is what you are going to do and then thank me later....

Go to google, type in Orthopedic doctor in "What ever county you live in"....Click on the website, then click on the doctor specializing in shoulders (Most likely he will specialize in shoulders, elbows, and knees)....Then call and make an appointment with him...

When you get there he will perform a physical exam and he will make you get an MRI...Because your injury is just guess work until you have some proof and the MRI is the only way (And no, an X-Ray will not do)....

Also, BEFORE anything..Go to google and type in "Team Physician for what ever Professional sports team closest in your area"...For instance, if you lived in San Francisco you would type in "Team Physician for San Francisco 49ers".....

In this case, Gary Fanton pops up saying he is Team Physician in Orthopedics for the San Francisco 49ers...Then you click website to the clinic he works at Stanford Hospital and Clinics and then you make an appointment....

What you've just done is not ONLY found the CORRECT doctor for your type of injury (Not some general practice idiot) but also the BEST one probably in your county...

    Good Luck

^^^^^^^^^this + in the meantime lay off of anything that has to do with your shoulder and let it rest, use this time to get MASSIVE legs, forearms, lower back, butt...all the things that most people neglect cuz they want the "show muscles" (arms, chest, shoulders)

Yes, and this to I forgot to put this very important...

If it truly hurts DO NOT try to push through the pain...You will just mess your shoulder up more..Talk to the doctor, get a diagnosis and go from there...

Hey everyone thank you for the advise... Ill sit out on upper body for the next 2 weeks... I just do not want to lose the gains I have but the pain is to the point that is making lifting very difficult... I wish I had the money to get an MRI done... But if it goes more then 6 weeks I'm going to have to think of something to get the problem fixed.... Well here is to a few weeks of nothing but abs and legs

If you're in that much pain AT LEAST go see an orthopedic...He might not be able to 100% completely diagnose you without an MRI but he'll probably have an idea of what is wrong...

It would be in your best interest to go see the doctor even if you don't have insurance or can't pay for the MRI..

The faster you treat injuries, the better outcome...Go see the DOC!
