Extreme soreness and swelling upon starting cycle...senior members please help!!!

I started a cycle purchased from a new source 1 week ago. 1st injection located in buttox produced extreme soreness for about 4 days. 2nd injection( 2 amps total) was taken 2 days ago in my left quad (so I could better monitor site) and my quad is extremely swollen and sore. Injection was taken about 10 inches above my kneecap and immediate injection site is sore but I have swelling and soreness just above the kneecap as well (about 10 inches below injection site). A little soreness I expect, but the amount of swelling and severity of soreness has me a bit concerned. Has anyone seen or experienced this before?? My 1st thought was to try 2 injections each week instead of 1 which would cut the amps from 2 to 1. I am very appreciative of your thoughts. Thank you.

If this is your first cycle, it's virgin muscle so it's going to hurt. Many experience what you're experiencing. Other will experience "Test Flu" like symptoms. It's a little uncomfortable but it'll go away. Just make sure everything's sterile. If the redness and heat persists, you could have an infection so keep an eye on it. Good luck.

Do you have red, hot, areas where you're swollen?

Some injections will hurt like a bugger, esp when you're not used to it, but you shouldnt really swell that much. At least not in my experience.

Isn't 375mg/ml kind of an odd dosage? If those are the correct ratios then that is why you are experiencing the swelling and the soreness.

You should have been 2 injections every week anyway. Yes, go w/that. and if it gets hot to the touch and additional swelling, seek medical advice.

I appreciate the knowledge. What is my solution??? Instead of shooting 1ML and 1ML totaling 2ML in one shot , I should go w/ 1/2 ML and 1/2 ML totaling 1 ML ???

Are your dosages 400 mg/ml of deca and 375mg/ml Test E? Or are you just taking that much per week. It makes more sense to speak in terms of milligrams vs. ML as we don't know how many mg/ml you have.

Whatever your test dose is, I would split it in half and take it twice per week (still using the same total amount as you were). I'd do the same with the Deca and just load it in the same pin as the test but I think you can get away with injecting Deca 1 time per week.

You are correct in dosages 400mg/ml deca and 375mg/ml Test E. I will split in half and go twice per week and give that a shot. I am also using 30mg DBol ed for 4 weeks. What do you think of this cycle????

A lot of people like to run a 2:1 Testeca ratio but I think you will be fine. I have ran them both about the same and had good results.
What are your stats?
How long is your cycle going to be?
Are you taking an AI?
HCG?
What is your cycle history?

I am 5'7'' 170 right now at 12%
I have been out of the gym for about a year due to work related issues ( I know...NO Excuses !!!!) and Just started lifting again 4 weeks ago. Previously I had been in the gym 4-6 times a week for 4 consecutive years and had done 2 previous cycles. I always have a great diet so I was able to keep abs and look good ( according to others) through my time away from the gym. I had gotten too thin from no lifting but I kept a good overall shape and great proportions.

My cycle is going to be 16 weeks followed by 4 weeks of PCT.

I have not been able to get my hands on an AI yet but am searching and plan to run .5 mg Arimidex (If thats what I get) every 3rd day.

Also, I am not yet too familiar with HCG but plan to research.

You should be running the AI already and not looking for it. First rule of cycling is to have everything before you start. Your running a good combo that will give gyno very quickly if you don't control estrogen. I can't believe you just started shooting whatever into your body with no well thought preparation.
I would imagine your PCT is just a thought at this point as well.

Since this is your 1st cycle lets make things easier. You are on the right track with less deca. Actually no more deca. You really should and will appreciate it later if you drop the deca and do a test only cycle. Dont worry the deca will last for years although I'm sure the temptation wont allow it to sit that long. lol

Agreed with you need to order an AI and you PCT ASAP but you should have had it beforehand.
