Test ethanate cycle and bodyfat
I am 43 years old and bodyfat doesn't drop as fast it use too. I want to start a cycle of Test Ethanate and I am at 19-20% bodyfat, I am 6'0 232lbs. Won't Test E help shed and bodyfat and wouldn't I be okay as far as Gyno and estrogen level rising if I use an AI and hcg and keep my cardio up.

Diet and cardio. Getting to 15% is the goal to cycle safely.

Higher test has been linked to a decrease in bf% so it is possible. Most of the guys here use test to gain size, so if you're eating like a horse to gain mass then I would imagine that no, you're not going to lose much or any bf, however here is a quote I found.
"testosterone was recently found to be effective for fat loss in young men even in small doses. One recent study showed that men given only 100 milligrams per week of testosterone enanthate lost an average of six percent of their bodyfat after eight weeks.(6) 100 mg per week is generally considered a very low dose by bodybuilding standards. Most impressive about this study was that the result was obtained in young, normal healthy men (aged 18 to 45), not obese or testosterone deficient. Most of the studies showing positive effects with hormone replacement therapy are on subjects who are obese or hormone deficient – i.e. the very subjects most likely to respond. While the amount of muscle gain reported in this study was not reported (it is still just in abstract form), another study showed 100 mg per week of testosterone enanthate was not anabolic .(7) It appears that testosterone has a strong mechanism for fat loss other than increased metabolic rate from increased muscle. Considering how much cheaper testosterone is than growth hormone , it may well be the cost-effective choice for burning fat even if it is slightly less effective overall."
I am not suggesting these guys are wrong... after all, i'm not even on anything, nor have I ever been thus far. There are plenty of studies linking low test with increases in fat, so it stands to reason that increasing those levels would increase metabolism and thus increase the rate that your body burns fat. The problem is no matter what, it's ALWAYS calories in, calories out. If you are eating as much as your energy expenditure, you aren't likely going to lose anything. A calorie deficit will decrease weight. Would test increase that rate? IMO it's highly possible.
