    Glucosamine

I originally posted in supplement section but got no replies. I'm going to costco soon so I need a quicker answer.
Okay which is better glucosamine sulfate or HCL? My old chiropractor told me it was sulfate but I cannot remember the reasoning behind it. HCL seems to be more readily available and cheaper. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a joint supplement. I've recently aded msm and have taken glucosamine sulfate for the last few years. However there's cheaper glucosamine hal at Costco. If there's no difference it saves me a trip out of my way to whole foods to get glucosamine sulfate.

Austin asked because Glucosamine, and its synergistically supporting ancillaries Chondroitin and MSM, is specifically for cartilage support/regeneration. It won’t impact tendon, ligament, or lubrication conditions.

The best products contain all three, but they work separately (to a lesser degree) as well. With regard to Glucosamine vs. Glucosamine HCL, there is a negligible difference…i.e. as Gaspaco said, “…get one that’s cheaper”!
