trouble aspirating
hey bro's, this is my first cycle and i am having real trouble aspirating. i have done 2 shots so far, and the first time i went to aspirate i pulled the whole needle out of my ass. whenever i go to aspirate, the plunger wont go back at all, it is like its stuck there (a vacume effect). i ended up switching the needle and sticking myslef again, then i pulled back until i saw some bubbles and shot.
the second time i had the same problem, i was pulling as hard as i could on the plunger (making sure i didn't pull the needle out again), and it wouldn't budge, maybe .2cc at most. i didn't see any air bubbles, no blood either, so i shot it and have had no probs, but i feel like im doing something wrong.
should i just keep pulling till i see even the tiniest bubbles, then shoot it? i read that as long as i dont see blood when i try and pull back on the plunger i can shoot, but im not sure how safe this is. does anyonelse have this problem, i must have been pulling on the plunger for a whole minute and it still wouldn't budge. what is the minimum you can pull it back and still be safe?

what gauge needle are you using? smaller gauges will prevent the draw back from being smooth and may cause problems like you are talking about.
you shouldn't be pulling back that hard on the plunger as you could possibly develop scar tissue or an abcess if you got an infection.
have you tried another muscle group yet or only stuck with glutes? hit those quads and see how you like that.

I have the same happen. The one time it did not I drew blood, so I would think it is safe to say that you are deep in muscle tissue. Oh yeah, I use 22g 1.5".

im using a 22g 1.5. i haven't tried quads, i might give them a shot if i keep having trouble with the glutes. could it be possible that im too deep into the muscle tissue? i have been sticking the 1.5 inch all the way in. could it be possible that i have the pin on too tight? i always make sure i screw it on very tight, maybe i should try it a bit looser?

It shouldn't be easy to aspirate , there should be a vaccum. If you ever hit a vein it will pull back easily.

I know people are going to jump down my throat but I NEVER aspirate and personally I never will. I only shoot in my glutes and I never had a problem before and I don't anticipate one in the future.

I've had the same problem. I pull hard on the plunger but don't see any bubbles. Last week I pulled so hard on the plunger that air came in around the back side of the plunger and into the juice. That sucked....I've only done 5 injections so I'm a little paranoid about doing it right. Sounds like if I hit a vain I would know it. Thanks for the info everyone.

pull back lightly, don't bother struggling to see air bubbles... if you are in a vein then blood should immediatly enter the syringe once you give any pressure while pulling back the plunger.
