Is it a bad idea to order gear with an AOL e-mail addy?

Yes it is a very bad idea...I will not give out any source info through a non-secure account nor will I do buiss with anyone from an AOL account...In this game safty comes first cause you might not get a second chance.

don't go with AOL
Aol has been known to repeatidly..look at peoples emails. Many people have been busted..I would go with the email accounts that Excess recommended...
You will be alot safer..

just think about how much info you have to give AOL to get an account with them...stick with the more secure accounts that the other guys have mentioned

Yeah those emails are great and they let you come up with your own security questions and answers.
Everytime I say I forgot my password they will ask me "What are you wearing?" and I reply something like "That's unappropriate"
It's pretty funny, I saw it on stand up comedy central.

Secure methods result in secure deliveries. If you use AOL I'm sure we will all be seeing a copy of the customs letter you recieve when you post it. The other guys are right about those secure Email sites. It works.

The deal with the few email providers that are listed is that they encrypt there messages were hotmail does not. So everything is send in clear text across the net. Watch, be cause if I am right it only gets encrypted if its sent to and from the same provider.
