Your body has been starved of food and hydration for approx 8 hours, it's not uncommon to look like that. I'm betting after your first meal, you swell a bit.

I have found that when I eat a high-prot. meals--such a baked chicken and/or beef (not powdered protien mixes)--about 1/2 hour before bed, I wake up feeling a bit pumped in the body part that I did the night before, IF I get at least 7 hours of sleep.
If I eat just simple carbs, or dont eat, or eat very little prot. before bed, I wake-up feeling and looking flat.
With his post, Pheedno already has hit the nail on the head for you (of course).
