Can littler amounts give better gains ?
It seems to be every time someone does a new cycle they up the dose of what they were doing, who here has done say 8+ cycles and still uses 5-600mg test a week with say an oral with good gains ?? An I wrong in thinking more is better and as I did 800mg test on my last cycle if I were to do 500mg next cycle it wouldn't be worth it ?? If my body can handle high amounts should I use more or just stick to smaller amounts ?

I rarely ever go over 500 anymore. Typically if it's a test only cycle. But i've cycled more times than I can count. Those who increase dose after dose are doing so because they don't see results, and that is due to a poor nutrition plan. Learn to eat before you increase your dose.

But I don't want to sound like a sick here but why is it pros use such high amounts ? I thought the higher dose the better gains although that sounds bad I know

well i would say it has to do with size as well...
like a guy who is 230 after 10 cycles i would say he need more than 500mg to grow
cuz he is big and his muscle already got to "abnormal " size... so he needs more test to gain more and to maintain
plus after many cycles your body gets used to that amount of testosterone and it will need more.. im just talking logic here not science

Let me break this down for you:
1. We don't know how much AAS pros actually use, no one knows their precise dosages as a matter of fact. However, it is obvious that they owe a good portion of their size to non-steroidal hormones employed at very generous dosages such as HGH, Insulin , IGF-1 and so forth.
2. Pros owe their massive size to a number of variables: Genetics, nutrition, muscle memory & muscle maturity (due to having lifted for so long), mental focus, dedication and discipline. AAS is just a tool for them, which simply allows them to have the ''edge.''
3. There is a reverse correlation between high doses of AAS and overall human health. This is true even for ''natural responders'' to AAS. Pros are well aware of this and majority of them thus employ the strategy of blasting their dosages at about 4 months before their competition begins. Unlike what most the guys here would like to think, majority of pros won't touch AAS once for 3-4 months after their most important show of the year is over, which is why a super-heavy weight genetic freak like Jay Cutler will always look small 3-4 months after Mr. O and will look huge again 2-3 months before the same show. Remember, being intelligent is an indispensable aspect of being a professional in any sport.
4. Aus above gave you a great answer regarding nutrition. Pros who compete at the super-heavy weight segment can consume up to 9000cals on a daily basis, which breaks down to about 8 meals including shakes. This is why it wouldn't be wise to question why a pro of that size would take 3 times the highest amount of Test I have ever taken, simply because he will be consuming about 3 times the calories I do. Size and nutrition very well justifies high dosages of AAS intake, ask our board member Bear who is almost 300lbs and he'll tell you all about it.
On a last note, I used to workout with a PT a few years ago, a true genetic freak, this dude would blast with 700mg of Test Prop within a few weeks, with nothing else and only Test Prop. He was hardly making enough money to get by and the only supplements he could afford were whey concentrate and creatine mono. Starting the same cycle with him was a true eye opening experience for me, I knew then that when genetics met years of training, one could be very big, muscular and strong. Thus, I feel sorry for many gym rats who have poor genetics and a lot of money to spend on hormones and supplements.Last edited by Turkish Juicer; 01-29-2013 at 09:33 AM.

I ask all to look at hobnobs post history and see what you think. This guy claims to have cycled numerous times with some major doses. Check it out and see if you think he's gaming us?
As for you hobnob post a current picture of yourself because with all that gear you should be huge.
