    anyone ever get gear in plastic vials?

    No....I'm not 100% sure on this but I think some breakdown of the plastic can occur over time due to the chemicals.

    Certain solvents do cause a degradation of plastics. I've seen oil based suspension literally melt the plunger on a syringe over the course of about ten days.

    I wouldn't trust it.
