Blood spurt after pin

I just pinned in my right glute and for the first time ever, as I was taking the pin out blood spurted out from the site a fair distance. Does this mean I've hit a vein, and if so is this bad. I've never had this happen before.

You are good to go. It happens from time to time. I have found if you pull out slow and cover it with your alcohol swab and rub right away, it rarely even bleeds afterwards.

U hit a wee vein thats bad mate you will probs lose about 2 pints of blood you will never be able to pin there again lol.
Am taking the piss mate just keep pressure on it for a wee minute it's sound.

I love pinning the quads and I do have it happen every once in awhile,Nothing to worry about.

Just remember to ALWAYS aspirate (you know, pull back alittle once your in to see if blood comes in the syringe) so you dont inject into a blood vein.
