    Cycling with semi gyno

Was just curious I pretty have puberty gyno on our right nipple. When i went to the doctor a few months ago he just said dont worry about it unless it gets bigger, only issue is its been maintaining the same size for the past 2-3 months so i was wondering what if it never goes away? would it get aggravated and start getting bigger again if i were to ever cycle?

its bout 1.5cm <-> 1cm tall | and bout .5-1cm deep (behind my right nipple)

Probably nothing you can do about it if youve had it for years, but I'd at least try beforehand.

How long have you had the gyno for? If it hasn't been too long you might want to try tamoxifen or raloxifene with the possible addition of arimidex or aromasin (letrozole should be a last resort). There are great posts on gyno here if you do a search. I would think your doctor would run a complete hormone panel as well to confirm the causative reason.

You would almost definitely be at increased risk of gyno if you cycled bc you're clearly gyno prone. So if you do ever cycle, it should be after plenty of research and after you settle your current problem.

i had it when i was 13-14 dont remember how long it stayed for but it was behind both nipples. I was told its normal and everyone goes through it with puberty. At the moment iv had it for possibly between 8-12 months now behind my right nipple only. At first it was larger but its reduced in size just in the past 2-3 months it been maintaining size.

yeah thats my fear exactly if i was to cycle later on and i still had it it would be a serious issue, i was just wondering because my doctor said to leave it and if it gets bigger they'd have to operate. He didn't once mention treatment even after i brought up tamo and such. He made me get a ultra sound and blood tests he didnt mention what it was for he just reckoned my tests levels may have not balanced out yet.

You've had it for long enough where you might need surgery but I don't think a trial of tamox or raloxifene would hurt unless you carry a specific contraindication. You should try to get the results of your labs and if possible ask your doctor to do a hormone panel if he hasn't already. You may want to consider seeing an endocrinologist bc if you're not getting positive results with your doc.

But even after you take care of your current gyno you will be prone to gyno in the future if you cycle or possibly even from test replacement therapy.

Do a search for gyno or maybe just look through the stickies to see if you can find the educational post on gyno by swifto (I think). Maybe someone else can post the link out verify who the poster was. I'm currently using the phone app so I can't post the link.

I agree with ADoc on this one.

If its fibrous, which i believe it is, reversing it in not an option - surgery is your only option. And i definitely wouldn't do any cycles until you are examined properly and the existing gyno is diagnosed properly.

Not much more to add other than that Bevsta.

thanks for that mickey and Adoc, i might try run a gyno reverse cycle, not looking forward to having to get surgery for it! Really hope it doesn't come down to that!

Edit: I tried looking for swifto's reverse thread couldnt find it, could one of you please direct me to a good reverse thread?

Like i indicated earlier, I would get some type of confirmation whether or not your existing gyno is fibrous or not. This is important. If its fibrous, you will not be able to reverse it. Only surgery will remove fibrous tissue.

    Mate,
Many of us have went through this. I certainly have. As your hormonal system kicks in, not only does testosterone production ramp up, so does other hormones as well. Hence the "puberty" gyno you mentioned. Other sides of this are seepage, sensitivity, enlargement of the gland.... as a lad, my symptoms lasted many several months. Don't remember how long, because I forgot about it (wasn't obsessing over it) and it went away on it's own.
    Good luck!

I would use the AI LETROZOLE with all your cycles. I think its best for pre-existing gyno issues.

I'm 22 and have had Gyno my whole life. When I cycle, even when I use Armidex, it gets worse. Then returns to normal during post cycle

Would you say .25mgs of letro/day is enough? Running it the same length as any other on cycle AI? Would PCT stay the same or would you change it in any way?

Really? Youre suggesting he should simply throw caution to the wind? You dont agree that this man should have his pre existing Gyno examined and addressed accordingly by a medical professional?

Just trying to learn here. What do you think?

Best to get it under control and reversed before it becomes fibrous, dense, and stubborn to eradicate.

You wouldn't run on a partially fractured ankle. The prescribed approach from the vets is the appropriate therapeutic course.
