    Some injection site swelling.

Hey all. So this is my fourth cycle. Just running test 350 right now. Keepin it simple. Injecting twice a week. 350mgs per injection. My first injection was in right glute. Slight swelling and soreness there for about two days then subsided no problem. My second shot left glute I noticed some issues. First and foremost the oil did not go in easily. As if something was blocking it. Now it's been about a week since injection. Still swollen. Very little redness. Slightly warm to the touch and slightly hard to the touch. 3rd injection was delt and it was smooth. No problems.

I've had this problem with the glutes before. And I'm sure it's not infection. Looking for some thought. Thank you!

What length pin are you using?

What G needle did you use? How fast did you inject? Do you massage the area?

25g needle. I believe it's one inch long. And I didn't massage the area as thoroughly as I probably should have.

Are you sinking the entire pin?

I've read TO AND NOT TO massage the area, I used to not massage the area I had bad PIP. Now I massage the area and has seemed to help it reasonably. Sometimes bro you are just going to have some pain there. It's undeniable. You are injecting oil into the muscle. It's pushing in that area, it's going to be irritated. The more volume in that area = more chances as well. Other variables play into it as well. Read a thread on here and i'm sure you can search it I like to shake my vial up before I use and I am OVERLY paranoid about being sterile. You can't over sterilize IMO. hahaha

Do you sink your pin red?

I wouldn't what if it breaks off. Leave a little bit to pull out if by some weird chance it does. Maybe try 1.5inch for the buttocks.

No I leave it out a bit but the problem is a 1" pin in the glute is not very deep if you aren`t sinking it. Definitely 1.5" is a better plan.

Ok. Thanks for all the help guys. I know it's not an infection but always good to have some other opinions to ease the nerves.

agree no problem, I pinned on thursday in my notorious pip leg aka the left leg. Some slight pip today nothing major, eventually your leg can get used to the injections.

I can't even begin to imagine how many 100's of shots I've done over the years. I have never had a concern with breaking a needle. You ever tried to break a needle? With a higher gauge (small diameter like you'd use to inject) you'd have to bend it back and forth repeatedly to fatigue the metal before it gives up. A heavier gauge like I draw with (20 gauge) you can drive that needle like a nail into solid oak. I can't imagine the scar tissue some people have to generate if they are so rough with syringes they worry about breaking needles off inside their bodies.

.....and keep rotating injection sites as often as possible. If you are only using delts and glutes you may want to add another spot. As scar tissue develops it becomes impossible to inject gear through.

I use 27g on all spots even with highly concentrated gear and 27g works just fine. I use 1 inch on everything but glutes, which I use 1.5.

Isn`t 27G insulin? I have only seen 25G around other than insulin pins.

Interesting, do you notice much difference with 27G as oppose to 25G?

Not a huge difference. Anything above 200mg/ml takes a little longer to push. I did use a 30g pin one time out of curiosity. THAT takes too long to push!!!!

I have 27g in 1/2 and 1 inch. I've used 1/2 for delts and its good but shallow. Just passes through upper sheaths of fascia. There are supposedly 1.5inch 27g but I've never been able to order them.
