Thread: Why does PCT suck so much?

Why does PCT suck so much?

Its been a while since I ran PCT (and this will be the last). Is it the comparatively low test that makes you feel like shit or the PCT drugs themselves?

Im running torem @ 120 ed and nolva @ 20 ed and at the gym I feel weak and get exhausted so easy and have 0 pumps. Im also an emotional train wreck at times. Coming off a heavy cycle so this is exactly what I expected. Also by approximately what day did you stop losing water weight?

Tonight will be the end of week 1, as I recall the first two weeks suck but then it gets better pretty quickly until a few weeks after pct then after a little while you feel normal again, this sound about right?

I think it's more mental than anything else. Yes, clomid messes w/me too. I think clomid is the reason i can't drive at night. Especially when it's raining.

But going into cycle a person needs to understand that PCT is a must. And it'll be over soon enough. Just get your ass back in the gym and eat right. It'll be over before you know it.

I personally look at it like this: Get thru PCT and lift like crazy. My next cycle is right around the corner. I kinda enjoy the time off. Hell, we can't lift like beasts all the damn time. Everyone needs a break from time to time.

If you blast and cruise you risk shutting down your natural system by never properly recovering. If you blast and cruise you're basically putting yourself on self-prescribed TRT.

OP - You're used to high levels of test that effect you more then just physically. When I am on cycle I feel on top of the world all the time mentally and physically. AAS have a big effect psychologically as well.

I sometimes cut Clomid out as well cause I get so emotional. Just gotta truck through it man, there's not really anyway to sugarcoat it. Just try and focus on the positive aspects and knowing you're getting yourself back to normal ranges. The pumps and everything will come back.

Just hide in a dark hole for 4 weeks lol, that's what I do.

Not on clomid, didn't want to touch it this time because of the emotional sides.

I've needed TRT for a while, natural test is around 300 and Im young (25).

Now that I know the symptoms Im almost 100% sure that I suffered from low test from my since teen years. The only reason Im coming off is to save some sperm samples that will work so I can have kids one day. As soon as I have some Im back on for good.

^^ Can't blame you. I won't use anymore than 50mgs. I'm a firm believer that clomid has my vision all screwed up.

I took a chick out for dinner the other night and i passed the restaurant up twice. She finally asked me if i could see after dark. I didn't even try to lie. told her no, and if it was raining, we'd be calling a taxi. She drove after dinner. And yes, i was sober.

On a side note regarding your lack of pumps, have you considered administering Cialis as a preworkout compound? I've recently started taking around 5mg of Cialis with AAKG and L-Citruline Malate between an hour and two hours prior to lifting. The results are simply amazing.

^^^^ This is very interesting. Care to elaborate a little more BBrian? Use only on workout days? You're not the first person i've heard this from.

Already do, it helps. I still feel so weak during workouts though.

Yes, I only take it on workout days. It actually provides a feeling very similar to a preworkout supplement such as jack3d, but far more powerful and very unique. I started experimenting with this as a means to increase vascularity. It was only about a week before I began to notice large veins surfacing over my quadriceps and calves, and of course the veins in my arms are far more pronounced now. And like I stated, the muscle pumps have been incredible. Initially I was concerned that I'd be sporting a huge boner at the gym, but even at 7.5 mg pre-workout, it isn't an issue as long as I don't think about sex or talk to the local scenery for too long.

I am taking some fat burners while I'm on PCT. It is working great. The extra energy helps a lot. Apart from me breaking my finger in the beginning of PCT,I have nothing to complain about. Great energy and great pumps.

I feel ur pain brother. At the end of last summer I crashed hard on my PCT. But like one of the posters said, I think it was more mental then anything. Currently, I'm finishing up week 4 of my PCT. Nova 40/40/20/20 and Clomid 70/70/35/35. I feel a ton better this time out cause I waited 6 weeks to start my PCT last cycle. This time, 2 weeks after my last pin. Also, for me, PCT is a great time to get outta the gym and do some cross training. I've been doing the Insanity workout and I am on month two. And it's brutal. Plus I'm riding my bike a ton.

If you plan ahead mentally, u know ur gonna be moody, lose strength, sex drive and some size and generally feel like crap. But it'll all come back. Took me about 6 weeks. Hang in there. We've all been thru it.

Just a thought , you might wanna consider clomid to increase fertility if that's your goal.

Yay. . . Looking forward to my PCT for sure

I will be on a total of 9 months. 5 being at a low dose of about 200mg a week. I did this to cut in between of cycles.

Now, I'm hoping my natural test comes back to what it was before(close to 600).

Somewhat considering just self prescribing TRT. But, why? My natural test was great.

Yea, I just heard this the other day it can help. So I was going to start trying like 1.5 months after pct. Would I just toss like 50 mgs in the week before or something?

Through trial and error on my own I have found dropping every AAS during cycle except gradually taper down on the testosterone helps a lot!! Whether you are going to cruise or run PCT. Doesnt it make more sense to slowly drop androgen levels and let cortisol levels readjust downward instead of just dropping androgen support off a cliff--here come the mood swings, acne, and muscle loss.

You may be right, maybe that's why my recovery was easier this time not the HCG, I was on 875mg of sust a week after my last sust injection I switched to 50mg prop every day for three weeks, three days after I startedHCG
