Extreme hard gainer.Hep c pos.Never cycled.Lost size and strength from bike wreck.
I am 37.I have weighed between 150 and 156 since I was 15. Worked out for almost a decade eating extreme calories. Protein shakes. Dedicated workout regimen..3 years ago I finally weighed 168 to 170 at around 6% body fat.-I used Mesobolin.Tridenison.and Oral testabol....I had a motorcycle wreck 2.5yrs ago and developed issues where I could not bend forward or I would fall due to weak muscles. I could not squat due to lack of strength. could not curl..-my max bench at 157 was 325 3 to 5 reps.2 sets unassisted..now i can barely bench..I seem to not be able to get my strength back-or the size that helped me feel average...the only thing that keeps the depression and subdue the anxiety is working out in hopes of getting back to where I was(and just being able to go back to a labor job using strength...I was thinking of trying Deca and Test Prop. for a few weeks to help slowly build up and to help with my joints...please,only those who have experience and know what I am dealing with please reply. thankk youClick image for larger version. Well, I have been working out for about a year and a half and I am steady about 156lb. I am 5ft10in...as for my levels-i can not remember very well but I see my doc every 2 months since the wreck and she tests-she told me that I am doing extremely well with balancing my diet to drop them down when they get abnormal(had it for years-no medications). I went through boot camp.I used to train to fight.i have a rooted primitive desire to be a better me. ha ha

You need to learn to eat if you plan to grow. AAS would just be a waste if you don't eat good. And yeah, you need to build up a solid foundation of muscle before you consider a cycle.
Also at your age, get some bloodwork done, just to make sure you're not suffering from Low T or other underlying medical conditions.

I would run GH if you have the money....You could probably get a script at your age as well anyways...
GH the one drug that works at a cellular level...Having the ability to actually create new cartilage cells etc..As in its name, growth hormone does just that, promotes GROWTH...Period

AAS will not help with that at all. In fact, you might hurt yourself even more. AAS does not help ligament or joints get stronger. You have to make them stronger naturally first and build a nice platform, before you are consider aas. Diet and training now would give you gains.

How can you eat "extreme calories for a decade" and still be 6% body fat. Not trying to be a jerk but that is impossible. Post your extreme calories, someone will give advice for sure.

I am "manic".Wired to go.Once i start its hard to stop and most of the time when I should rest my body just puts out more energy, also my metabolism is extremely high. Taking in that many calories helped get me to the 170 range over good time frame but that was without the scrambling of my chemistry from the wreck.
Trained by a Marine, trained by a trainer when I managed an LaFitness..so my knowledge of rest, intervals, diet etc..are pretty good.(what to and not to eat)..its just that with jacking up my calorie intake and isolating the weak areas(slow and in control) my weight does not seem to want to go up-just my intensity and determination...I have and will continue to take in the calories-always have, just trying to find an alternative if the food and exercise doesnt work out.
and thanks for the feedback guys.

And I would say to stay away from compound movements as it puts more stress and you can't adjust the motions in which gives you pain...
It's MUCH MUCH easier to use cables because it's less stress #1 and #2 you have the ability to tweak the angles....Basically, it's up to you the range of motion you choose.....
For ALMOST all exercises, you can complete with cables...You can do standing rows by adjusting the cable mid waist, you can do them one arm at a time or you can do it together with two hand grips or a straight bar...
You can slide in a bench and do chest presses with cables, you can do incline on cables....You can do one arm shoulder presses with cables....The list goes on and on..
You will be ABSOLUTELY surprised that with the slightest adjustments in range of motion cables give you it can eliminate or help the areas in which you would normally feel the pain...
If would probably be a GREAT way to start building your strength back and some muscle tissue...Last edited by calstate23; 03-18-2013 at 10:20 AM.
