    help please... letro for gyno

Okay so Ive had teen gyno for some years now (currently 18 years old) but in the last month or two ive notcied my nipples are getting puffier and kinda like bulging out. Its gotten to the point where i cant wear whites shirts unless they are massive. I went to the doc and he said surgery can only fix it. i mentioned letro and he said no, not in australia. I havent taken any AAS but i did take a little amount of bulgarian tribulus for about 4 days a few moths ago, doubt thatd cause it. So my question is should i try letro and see how it goes? or get a second opinion? i doubt ill hear anything different if i get a second opinion.

if i were to take letro id do as follows:

    Day 1 .50mg
    Day 2 1.0mg
    Day 3 1.5mg
    Day 4 2.0mg
Day 5 2.5 Remain until symtoms are gone.. then another 4-7 days

Then taper down basically in reverse..

then 30mg of nolva on my last day of letro, stay at 30mg for 1 week, then 20mg for week 2 and 3, then stop completely.

my worry is can taking letro have any long term effects especially considering age, which is 18?? does it effect the HPTA?

i really dont wanna do something that will f*ck me up. also heard that letro kills the libido, is there a way to reverse this?

any advice will be appreciated. I just wanna get rid of this real badly

    cheers

Wow man. I'm sorry to hear that! That really sucks......I know now that i had the same problem when i was a teen, but back then really had no idea why i had such a big chest. It wasnt REAL bad, but it was enough that every once in a while, one of the guys might bust my chops about it, but by the same token it could almost be misleading in a good way. Depending on how i dressed, it would make me appear more muscular. It was not big to the point that it was big enough to sag (thank god!!!)....So i just had to wear shirts with loose or big necks and somehow that helped to make my body look more proportioned and it was really never to much of a problem other then always having to try on any shirt before i bought it....But i still wish i would have known about gyno and what it is, maybe i would habe been able to address it.....
But anyway bro, there are a number of members on this board with experience and or education on the subject and also we have members here with medical backrounds. I sure some of the guys will chime in to try and help you out.....Good luck and welcome to anabolic research.......Wes201

I'd rather use Ralox or Tamox. Letro is too harsh.

60 mg daily until gone. no need to go over 80mg.

Ralox is the way to go imo as austinite said. Of course you have to give it time, before you even start to evaluate give it 6-8 weeks. You Dr may in fact be correct. Depending how far along it is surgery may be only answer but if anything will shrink it or treat it it is raloxifene.

Agreed. 1-2months with a SERM to see what can be done. but in many cases if you want it gone you will need to get it cut out. and if its from puberty then I'm 90% sure that will be the case.
    but its worth a try.
    GOOD LUCK! :-)

I tried letro off cycle to try and get rid of some old Gyno, i read that it would destroy old gyno if used at high doses.I started with 2.5 mg for the first week and gradually lowered the dose untill i was off altogther.I did nothing to the gyno but it killed my libo and i couldnt get wood even with cialis. I was on ADT therapy recently for prostate cancer and got more gyno from the meds they gave me,when it was over i started 20mg nolvadex ED and after 4 weeks its starting to get smaller.

"Those are impressive numbers, but heres one of the most interesting things about Letrozole :

It may reduce/eliminate/reverse existing gynecomastia !

In a study conducted on mice (and yes, I know its not perfect), gyno-like changes in the mammary gland were totally destroyed! Heres a direct quote from that study:

Our results also indicate aromatase overexpression-induced changes in mammary glands can be abrogated [destroyed] with very low concentrations of the aromatase inhibitor, letrozole.(7)

In addition, both I and a friend successfully used Letrozole to eliminate our gyno while both using 2.5mgs/day, tapering down to .25mgs/day, and then finally off. The gyno never returned for either of us.

Based on its availability and cost (when you consider the fact that .25mgs/day is more than enough protection from estrogen-related sides on most cycles), not to mention its overall utility for a variety of functions (destroying gyno, preventing estrogenic sides, and for PCT), Id say that this stuff is pretty great."

mate im in the same boat as you, i made a thread on this a while back: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...with-semi-gyno

i was planning on going back to my doctor at the end of the month but recently after iv stopped drinking iv really noticed a change and can happily say its been reducing in size, its one of those things where really all you have to do is wait it out. I can agree with others when they say not to self medicate, if your still in disbelief then i suggest you make an appointment with your endo and a 2nd doctor.
