So confused, some help please on first cycle, 43

Ok, so here is the basic data. I am 43, been training a little over 1 year this time, fairly naturally muscular, 5'8" 200 at about 19% BF. (I realize this sucks here probably)

I have found it was fairly easy to get back what I used to have as far as size and muscle mass. I, however, cant seem to get passed the 18-19% BF mark and also get more defined.
I am sure some of it is diet, and I do my best to watch and stay consistent.
I have researched around on various sites for the best "starter" cycle to jump start me and pretty much have found about as many answers as sites.
My basic goal is to gain a little mass, not too much though, more definition and strength, but to lose the extra fat while doing it that seems to not want to leave me around the belly. This past year I have lost probably 15 lbs fat and replaced it with muscle and I am about where I started at weight wise, however it is obviously much better placed.
Just looking for a realistic idea on a first cycle, what to take with it, after the cycle, how long it should be. Im not rich or anything but will pay for good stuff in this regard. Please don't come at me with the "eat better" "exercise more", as I know these things need to be part of it, just looking for real advice on a first time cycle idea. Thanks guys.

Also, at this time, all I take is preworkouts, tribulus (I know) , multivitamin and milk thistle.

"I am sure some of it is diet"

There is your problem, as it is all about diet, post up your diet in the nutrition section and have a read in there.

    Welcome to the Forums!

Youre doing good, but you need to reduce your BF a bit more so that you decrease the possibilities of unwanted sides.

20% look leaner then the 15% guy....And either way, there is NO WAY that is 20% bodyfat UNLESS he has HIPPOS for legs...#3 guy not even close to 12%, maybe MAX 10%...

Think about your cycle when lower bodyfat%...Use your cycle as motivation to get down near 10%...Your cycle will much much better then...

Also, at your age get blood work and the whole shinanigans to see if all your levels are normal and you are healthy enough to begin down your venture...

15% you can see bottom of last rib and top set of abs slightly showing. 20% looks pretty soft and bloated. Are we talking about the same two guys here??

Looks fairly accurate to me, no expert though if someone presented that 20% guy to me I would take a stab in the dark at 18% so 20 doesn't seem that far fetched.

Id say between the 15 and 20 guys for sure, about 18-19. Bigger than either, but body definition wise, between them

Also, due to my job, I have been tested bloodwise and I am in in good shape in that department, chol and so on.

Yes, 20% guy just in bad light and white as a ghost...Look at both of them directly around the belly button...In the area you would inject gh for instance....

20% is much flatter as you can see it in the belly button....15% guy has puffiness around...

I love ya buddy but youre wrong. The difference is clear. 15% is clearly leaner than 20% guy. Ill can open a thread and ask for opinions. I wont say what i think. seriously bro, its that clear.

    Wow that freaks me out.

I completely and respectfully disagree with you 100%..not 90%, 100%.

And we'll just leave it at that i guess.

Imagine what 6-7% look like on 5'9" 170 and what 6-7% look like on 5'9" 200?

COMPLETELY different physiques...Most already put the 200 lbs leaner because it looks like he has more muscle and probably has more veins since he is running hormones....

Also, water weight on these guys make it look much worse then really is...

    True, no probs....

But I do think we REALLY need a section where people get dunk test with results to show true accurate bodyfat% though...I've seen some RIDICULOUS numbers thrown out...

And I'm not saying yours were ridiculous....Off a little in my opinion

    True....Sorry...

But I think we can all agree...Get bodyfat down FOR SURE before you cycle...UNLESS you are COMPLETELY over estimating your bodyfat%

    Hit the ol' nutrition section!
