Thread: Problem injecting

Today's injection was set to be in the left quad, but I wasn't able to inject in my quad. When I tried the first time, I wasn't able to pierce the skin. I tried a second spot close to the first and was able to pierce the skin, but barely and the needle wouldn't go in. I tried one more time and, again, wasn't able to pierce the skin. At this point, I changed needles and injected my delt instead.
I doubt I have that much scar tissue in my quad. I haven't had any serious injuries or ever had surgery of any kind. What could be the cause? I'm not overly worried, but kinda concerned about losing an injection site already.Last edited by lestat85; 03-23-2013 at 09:24 PM.

Change the needle. It's dull.

^ doesnt make sense bro. 25g can pierce through scar tissue and just about anything else. Sounds like you're a bit nervous and not putting enough pressure on it. Hit your delt.

^ good. First few times try icing the area with a pack of peas or something prior to injecting.
