Today's injection was set to be in the left quad, but I wasn't able to inject in my quad. When I tried the first time, I wasn't able to pierce the skin. I tried a second spot close to the first and was able to pierce the skin, but barely and the needle wouldn't go in. I tried one more time and, again, wasn't able to pierce the skin. At this point, I changed needles and injected my delt instead.

I doubt I have that much scar tissue in my quad. I haven't had any serious injuries or ever had surgery of any kind. What could be the cause? I'm not overly worried, but kinda concerned about losing an injection site already.

    Change the needle. It's dull.

I did this, but also changed injection sites.

Thanks for the fast reply. I hit a wrong button and wasn't able to finish editing my post before you commented.

What are you injecting with, a harpoon? What gauge?

^ doesnt make sense bro. 25g can pierce through scar tissue and just about anything else. Sounds like you're a bit nervous and not putting enough pressure on it. Hit your delt.

That's probably what it is. It wasn't the first time injecting my quad and was one of my preferred spots during my first cycle. I guess I've still got some getting used to it, when it comes to injecting.

I already switched to my delt and it went smoothly.

^ good. First few times try icing the area with a pack of peas or something prior to injecting.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try this next time.
